Dr Chen is very kind, caring, and always tries to find alternatives to pain medication, but understanding when it is truly needed.

After years of back pain, Dr. Chen was able to give me the relief from 95% of my chronic pain. I had a nerve stimulater implanted in my back from St. Jude. I will never go elsewhere for any issues concerning my back or any other pain management concerns. Dr. Poly Chen and his remarkable staff are professional, caring and most important to me "listeners". They go above & beyond all expectations .

Dr. Chen has his office set up efficiently to move the patients through. Unfortunately, it feels like you're in a cattle run. The first meeting is intense and you get the feeling like he really cares and understandsee. Then you're set up for injections where you're moved through like cattle. After the first appointment, you only see the PA, not Dr. Chen. My last hip injection was not like the first and they didn't explain that they would be getting very personal and exposing my vagina. I was on my period and was extremely uncomfortable with how they did it and the fact that they didn't explain it ahead of time. The injections did help for about 8 months. Then when saying I needed something more, the PA said that the injections should last longer and be enough. I felt like they didn't think I was in pain anymore. I missed two appointments. I called to cancel both more than 24 hours prior. They charged me for them. I disputed the charges, They sent me to collections and now won't return… my calls.
