Dr. Ponnie Davis Poisal, the owner of Loganville Family Dentistry, is a native of Gwinnett County. She has been practicing on the very land of her great-grandparents' home place in Loganville, Georgia for 17 years.  After receiving her bachelor’s degree from The University of Georgia, she attended The Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 1994.
Dr. Poisal strongly believes in continuing her education, regularly taking classes and encouraging her employees to take classes as well so as to stay up to date on the latest advances in techniques, materials and technologies that are ever changing in the field of dentistry. She uses this knowledge to provide the best treatment possible for her patients with the utmost care and respect.
Dr. Poisal is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association, the world renowned Thomas P. Hinman Dental Society, and …the Dawson Alumni Association. She volunteers her time to go to schools and educate children about oral hygiene, and with the Hebron Dental Clinic to provide dental care for those who cannot afford treatment elsewhere. Her office participates with the Gwinnett Hospital System Foundation in their Brighter Smiles for a Brighter Future fundraiser yearly.
She and her husband, David, have two children: Priscilla and Zachary. She enjoys sewing and reading during her free time.
