Dr. Pooja Agarwal, MD

My experience with Dr. Agarwal was traumatic. I had an appointment to establish her as a new primary care provider. She was extremely rude and callous. She did not agree with my current medication, and very rudely said I should return to my previous provider. I completely understand not agreeing with medication, especially a controlled medication, but this should be handled in a polite and caring manner. Suggest alternatives to the medication you disagree with. I would have happily switched. Please avoid this provider. I cannot stress enough how much I don't believe she cares for her patients. She interrupted me throughout the whole visit, refusing to listen to anything I was trying to say. She spent the entire time criticizing how other doctors manage their practices. Her liability is her main concern. I am in disbelief that such an uncaring person exists, much less a healthcare provider. I am concerned that anyone experiencing depression or suicidal thoughts could be pushed over the… edge with her horrific behavior.
