Pooja Bharat Patel, MD

Dr. Pooja Patel was born in USA, grew-up in Mumbai, India, and returned back to USA after completion of her medical school. Medicine was her dream since the beginning. Though born on the East Coast, the Midwest has always been home for her. Dr. Patel completed her residency training in South Miami, Florida where she learned Spanish by communicating with her patients and peers. She enjoys learning about the cultural diversity in her working environment. Dr. Patel is board certified in Internal Medicine, with a special interest in Cardiology, Critical Care Medicine, and Pulmonology. She enjoys academics, and also takes special interest in educating her patients. Apart from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities, photography, sketching, and playing Super Mario games.I treat my patients the way I want my family to be treated, with dignity, integrity, and compassion.
