Dr. Poonam Raje, MD

My first visit with Dr. Raje was about nausea. She thought I was pregnant and gave me anti nausea pills until the blood test she took confirmed I wasn’t. She next told me that it was just heartburn and gave me a prescription for that. I felt more and more sick. She upped the dosage of the anti acid another time before I returned really not feeling well. She told me I was just depressed and tried to give me antidepressants. I stood up for myself to say I wasn’t. She told me if I went to any doctor they would just tell me I was depressed. I took myself to the ER. What happened in the next 18 months would have never happened if I had accepted Dr. Raje’s “diagnosis” that I was “just depressed”. ER referred me to specialists as the result of a CT scan. I was diagnosed through blood work and endoscopy that I have Celiac disease, infiltrative endometriosis, and endured a 12 hour surgery that required a hysterectomy, bowel resection, and reconstruction of my bladder. This was followed by two… surgeries for Melanoma. To top it all, caring doctors found a very large brain tumor (4 cm+ acoustic neuroma) that was pushing my brain stem over, took my hearing and has caused permanent vestibular problems. I say all this because Dr. Raje was not a good fit for me and found her to be uncaring and dismissive. I would not recommend her to anyone who wants a doctor to care. Not listening to Dr. Raje literally saved my life!!

I don't have words to describe how compassionate she is, listen very carefully. never felt rushed. she called quite often to make sure i was doing ok, highly recommended

When I first met Dr Raje, I didn’t have any mixed feelings as time went on during my pregnancy I noticed how professional and experienced she is . Very holistic and makes sure she follows up her patients. She will immediately give you a call immediately she finds anything to worry about. My experience with her has been incredible. Wish all OB Drs were this Nice??

One of my most horrible experience. I went in for a checkup and physical. DON'T GO. You will regret it. I did. She only half listened, and wanted to get the health task done asap, without care towards me. Felt rushed. Forgot about me, and left me waiting for her.

She did not address any of my health concerns and just focused on my depression worksheet and when I steered the wheel towards the corners I came in for, she told me "I can't fix all your problems for you." I was speechless

Dr. Raje is a great doctor. She answers all of mine and my spouse's questions and is very thorough in her explanations. She gives great advice and tips on health and pregnancy. I absolutely love her and so excited that she will be delivering our daughter!

She is the most rude doctor you could ever visit to. Absence of politeness and she highly lacks listening ability. People go to visit doctors to find out the solutions of their problem but she is one of those who gets mad if you ask her any question. So, think 1000 times before you make an appointment with her.
