Dr. Prabir Kumar Chaudhuri, MD

I first met Dr. Chaudhuri in 2015 after a malignant tumor was found by pathology after a routine dermatological procedure. He subsequently operated on me and provided the majority of my aftercare and monitoring. From my experience, he has always been patient, polite, and clear. He even called me from his personal cell phone in the evening a few days after surgery to see how I was doing. I would routinely show up to appointments with a printed document of my own questions, and unlike some other providers, he seemed happy to go through each question, elaborating as needed while we talked things over. Moreover, the nurses and other staff members at the Dana Center have consistently surpassed my expectations--they are great about communication and always seem eager to be of assistance. I'm sure they have busy, chaotic days, but based on their level of customer service, you wouldn't guess that at all.

Dr. Chaudhuri is an absolutely phenomenal Surgeon and a compassionate individual. I am in Cleveland and am surrounded by CCF and UH. I travel 2 hours every year to see Dr. Chaudhuri for his expertise. He removed a mass 9 years ago that other so called experts in my town wanted to do a needle loc. biopsy on or just observe. The mass ended up being precancerous. He saved my life, and I am so grateful because now I am a Mommy to a precious boy who is now 8! My hubby, son & I travel to see Dr. Chaudhury every year. I trust his judgment, and cannot say enough wonderful things about this incredible Doctor! ????

He saved my life not just once but 3 times. He is an extraordinary doctor with skills good bedside manner in so kind to his patients and the patients family. One of the best Doctors I have ever met....he saved my life not just ones but twice. I highly recommend him. Wonderful and caring Doctors for the job he does. Very professional, he takes the scare right off of you. Very good bed side manners which some Doctors don't have these days. He also is good with the patients family. We love him. Rude, No bedside manner, mutilated me and did not warn me of the risks of what he was going to do. Messed up my left shoulder/arm permanently. Took out 14 lymph nodes and they were all NEGATIVE! left my arm useless; ruined my life! Never gave me informed consent prior to surgery or I would have cancelled

This doctor is very nasty and has a potty mouth. he curses out employees and hangs out on them. As patients listen. never will I ever take my loved one there again. just cause your a good Doctor doesn't mean you can treat people any kind of way. Very unprofessional i give him a Thumbs down and a Neg. -10

Nurses and other care taking staff are great too.

He literally saved my life 3 times. Dr. Chaudhuri did all necessary surgeries for a rare form of cancer I suffered with for more than a decade. With the last one in 1999 he achieved a cure for me. Although middle-aged by then I went on to become a nurse for more than 11 years. I'm retired now but he literally gave me back my life. I would go to him again without hesitation.

I had the pleasure of training under Dr. Chaudhuri during my residency in general surgery MANY years ago. I was in awe of his knowledge base, incredible Surgical skills and down-to-earth caring nature, not to mention a very pleasant sense of humor. I have since moved far from Toledo, and when I had an abnormal mammogram, I met with a Surgeon in my town who simply paled in comparison to Dr. Chaudhuri! I traveled two hours to see P.K. for his Surgical expertise. He performed my surgery the same day and thankfully the mass was negative. Words cannot express how thankful I am every day to P.K. He is an awesome Surgeon and human being. I am forever grateful! I would recommend him without reservation to anyone who needs a Surgical Oncologist.
