Dr. Prachi Anand, MD

First time appointment that took forever to see a doctor name Gary Rosenblum who also see patients at Nassau Medical Center. Well I never got the chance to see Him, only Dr. Prachi Anand. As soon as she came in the room her energy was not accepting. She never ask how I was doing or the reason for my visit to the office. Dr. Anand only looked at my paper work given by the physician assistant and said they could not help me, because I do not have any signs of auto immune disease. After that was said the Dr. then directed her conversation only to the assistant ask for my hands to see my fingers, my palm, and slightly felt on my elbow. Then looked at me and said again this office cannot help me, I need to go elsewhere. Her practice only see patients who suffers from auto immune disease and I should be thankful I do not have any of them. When I finally got a chance to get a word in to ask questions she was very defensive. When I ask for Dr. Rosenblum because that's who I came to see, she… stated......... He would agree with what I'm saying and If I want to see him privately I need to set up an appointment to see him at his affiliated office at Winthrop Hospital, she's the "Chief" here at Nassau for Rheumatology. With that being said I never saw Dr. Rosenblum, my voice was never heard regarding my situation, and I was not help in any kind of way. Just was told sorry I can't help you!!! So I wasted my time & $8.50 in parking fees to sit in an office. BE AWARE AND BE CAREFUL!!!!!

From day 1. Dr. anand has made me feel comfortable. I have been under her care for over 2 years want each visit she listens to my many complaints and treated me based on how I was feeling. Most doctors don't listen to their patients. They think because they are doctors they know how u should be feeling at what stage. Dr Anand takes the time to listen and run test to help me feel at ease and I greatly appreciate(d) that personal touch. Thank you doctor for having treating me like a person and not just a patient.

Not good. For starters her English was very bad and I found out she was not educated in the United States, but rather India. I'm not sure she knows how to practice medicine in the United States because her bedside manner and suggestions were terrible. Go elsewhere.

Wonderful doc, highly recommend

I would never go to this doctor again. She does not have a good bedside manner and barely listened to me as a patient. She also has a thick accent and I had trouble understanding her. I felt rushed at the visit.
