Dr. Prachi Chandrashek Ranade, MD

Without Dr. Ranade, my husband would not be alive. We cannot recommend her enough. He was being treated by another dr who said he could not do more. We were dismissed. In the hospital Dr Ranade was assigned. She had to figure out how to keep him alive for the next 48 hours so she could even try to cure him. She cared and did not give up. She did NOT tell us she was done & go elsewhere. My husband owes her his life and we are so grateful to her for her compassion, determination and ability to think outside the box to keep him alive. She is the real thing, a doctor who really cares about her patients and does everything she can.

Doctor got caught in a lie during my second visit with her - she is in a constant hurry, doesn’t listen to patient feelings or concerns. If you need an Infectious Disease Specialist that cares for your needs go elsewhere.

After suffering with an infection for 3 months, I was referred to Dr Ranade in Fairfax. It was just shy of a 2-hour trip from where I live, and I was dreading it. I was quite pleasantly surprised. Dr Ranade was very compassionate and accommodating. She was very responsive to my calls after my visit, and the end result was that the infection is now gone. I would highly recommend her and her staff!

Doctor misdiagnosed medical condition which led to my prolonged hospital stay and continued pain. Doctor's demeanor was negative and dismissive.
