Dr. Pradeep Chopra, MD

Great at diagnosis. Not great at continuing care or following up after calling office with questions or concerns. Hard to get an appointment

I personally have an issue with a specialist who charges a 1k out of pocket fee to any insurance recipient but nonetheless a Medicare/Medicaid recipient. I have a personal issue with a provider who refuses to itemize what the 1k out of pocket expense covers. And when you explain your rights as a patient and what your specific coverage offers you, you are then told you are not welcomed as a patient. I have an issue with any such provider who attempts to capitalize on their talents in regards to the most vulnerable of people and the circumstances life has handed them. Dr. Chopra is a man of extraordinary talent but with that talent comes a great deal of greed.

I went for decades without an explanation of my deteriorating condition. After a lengthy hours long appointment I finally had answers. I have a rare disease. He gives you numerous things to do to improve your life during the appointment. Write them all down! He doesn’t have patience for non compliant patients so if you aren’t willing to try his suggestions he will drop you. He has patients all over the world that will happily comply with his recommendations and they’re all desperate for appointments. He doesn’t prescribe opioids and many get disgusted with this. He believes in treating the patient by finding and treating the problem instead of just covering up the pain. His methods for pain are very well tested and do work well! He fully understands that people are suffering and you can tell he’s an empathetic person who carries this all with him. He’s also very considerate and kind. He will actually LISTEN which is exceedingly rare with doctors. He is a Harvard Med doctor who teaches… at Brown Med. He stays very current in his methods. I recommend him very highly and can’t say enough about him and his very hard working staff. They’re the reason he can spend so much time with patients because they do all the paperwork, phone calls and record keeping so Dr. Chopra has the best information before and after my appointments. If you have to wait a while to see him it’s absolutely worth your time.

I am a doctor. I had been diagnosed with CRPS by several doctors. None of whom really even examined me. I saw Dr. Chopra in 2018. He spent almost 5 hours with me going over and examining me thoroughly. I was surprised by how detailed he was. He eventually gave me the correct diagnosis. It was not CRPS. I followed his treatment and now a year later I am back to work and doing better. I have changed how I treat my patients after being Dr. Chopra's patient.

My appointment with him was surprising. This is the first time I felt a doc appointment wasn’t rushed. He was thourough.

He is very caring. He has helped me more than any doctor. They all gave up on me. He was my last hope. I am so glad I saw him. He is very detailed and was able to figure out my problems and came up with some great suggestions

After spending hundreds to travel and stay overnight to see Chopra for severe CRPS and another tragic injury, he spent three hours with me but ordered none of his own tests or medications. He ordered none of his own diagnostics and then sent me away with a laundry list of to-dos and to see drs elsewhere who I later found out no longer accept new patients. When I tried phoning Chopra to discuss the matter, he failed to return calls. I had questions about his so called "plan." I called his office more than six times over weeks and months and left numerous messages to no avail. He never returned my calls. I spent more than $700 on an appointment and traveled all that way to see him and can't give me the courtesy of a call back to explain his own suggested treatment or lack there of? I do not recommend anyone pay out of pocket to see this man. He may have awesome credentials and talk the talk, but he as uncaring as it gets and his treatment hold no weight at all. Doctors like this… are just downright terrible people. I don't do business with terrible people and neither should you.

Dr. Chopra is the best. He has been treating my mother for many years. If it was not for him, she would be in a wheelchair.

He is what a true doctor should be. I wish other doctors would learn from him.

He is the best doctor. I live in Norway. All the doctors here did not know what was wrong with my son. I heard about Dr Chopra and he agreed to see me. He gave us suggestions and talked to my doctor at home. My son is much better. He has more good days now. He wants to be doctor like Dr Chopra :)
