This office is a NIGHTMARE! RUN

My original Dr that started me on this (15 years ago) passed away. The will county health department helped until I found a job with insurance. So I thought I would see another Dr close to me. I then made the worst decision of my life and went to see this clown. Beware,... don’t waste your time.

Dr. Thapar was friendly, but does not let patients talk. He does not ask questions. Visits were 5 minutes. Take more pills and you’ll be fine. Wrong. After 3 attempts to reach him, my son’s situation became urgent and he ended up in the hospital. Had we stopped the bad medicine, the outcome might be different. Lawsuit?

Please please please don't see this doctor if you have a minor with mental health issues. He won't listen to you, silence you with threatening to call an ambulance when you try to talk about suicidal thoughts and ideations, and refuse to take your word into account. I had to go to the hospital because this doctor refused to listen to me and change my medication despite it giving me horrible side effects. Don't waste your money.

I had him as a Pdoc for a few years. I did not really look around and read reviews. He was horrible. Wait time in his waiting room was over an hour. He seems to book as many patients during the day as possible. He would only spend 5 mins with me. I since found a better Pdoc that listens.

First visit.never ask me a question.ask me"why am I here".i told him"I think I am depressed and have anxiety".he started writing prescription.i was not interested in medication but why I am feeling this.This medicine will take care of you that is what he told me.this is my first time that I have seen a psychiatrist.he should care about rather than MONEY.We are senior and that is how the doctors treat seniors.
