Dr. Pradip Bhargavan Baiju, MD

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Baiju. He is without a doubt the very BEST cardiologist/physician I've ever met. He is our family cardiologist and takes extra special care of my dad who is hard of hearing. He sits down with us and draws diagrams on his ipad showing where the lesions are, where the bypass or stent was placed, and why he is recommending a certain follow up test. He engages us in the decision making process, so my dad understands why he needs a certain test or procedure. He is efficient, and well connected so that when we do need to go somewhere else for a test for example, his referral means we get special care. HIs medical knowledge is SUPERB. In the clinic, he is kind, patient, and inspires confidence.

As a vascular surgeon who flew into town just before a family member was being seen for a toe ulcer, I am appalled at the way peripheral arterial disease is approached. We were seen by the PA, who used a Doppler probe to check blood flow in the feet and told them it was grossly abnormal. I personally examined him myself and felt a pulse with my fingers. She instantly recommended an invasive arteriogram rather than any noninvasive tests. Bottom line, this place is in the money making business. Please avoid, go to an academic institution, and don’t sign up for a next day angiogram. This is a prime example of the epidemic sweeping the country and you, the patients suffer.

While his waiting room area is overcrowded and/or not designed for comfort, his staff is caring, efficient and reassuring during a long wait to be seen, however, when we saw Dr. Baiju it was well worth the wait. He was thorough and professional and he successfully restored circulation to my 98 yr old mother’s foot when other prominent vascular surgeons would not risk intervention and he follow up relentlessly. I highly recommend him.

Four procedures two resulted in nothing being done. Last through the left elbow resulted in my arm swollen and bruised from armpit to hand. Crushing pain in my elbow and artery still has buildup. At follow up he blamed me for the problem and lied to my face. Very untrustworthy. Milking my insurance company.

When I 1st me Dr Baiju I went because after numerous surgery to my left leg at another hospital they had scheduled me to amputate my leg and foot was purple he was highly recomended 1st cost he started me on a medication not typically used and my leg started to get circulation 3 years later God bless him I still walk on my leg he has saved my leg and is the only Dr still willing to do what ever possible to continue to save it he is my God sent angel and his staff is so wonderful. Keep in mind he so wonderful he has many many patients so you have to be somewhat patient but very with it

Find a different doctor to care for you! This doctor will not return a call. He "determines" which calls to return. I will not work with a doctor that doesn't find some time at the end of the day to return his patients calls. And to give him constructive feedback about his staff, he won't hear of it. He doesn't involve himself in administration as he clearly stated. Well, doc you should. Your staff should confirm appointments with patients, answer calls and return them as well. Read the other reviews, I am not the only one that has experienced a lack of professionalism. Choose wisely!

His minions are very unreliable and unprofessional. They don't care about the patient and have no compassion.

Dr. wonderful office staff terrible very un professional hard to make appt. The appt. are for three months out my husband in a lot of pain with 3 blocked veins in no one seems to know whats going on OR EVEN CARE. So sad that a wonderful Dr. has such a terrible staff. Needs to clean house in hire people who know what there doing.

I met Dr Baiju when I was admitted to the hospital after a bad fall. I have orthostatic hypotension which is a sudden drop in blood pressure when I change position. ( ie. going from sitting to standing). I stood up too quickly and was beginning to lose consciousness when I fell and hit my head on a corner of the wall, which resulted in two black eyes one was swollen shut, many bruises, knee injury...just a huge mess. Orthostatic hypotension is not an easy diagnosis for a cardiologist to manage. Dr Baiju was very thorough, explained each diagnostic test/procedure he was ordering, he explained the results thoroughly, answered all of my questions and assured me he would not be satisfied until he had an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Dr Baiju was the first cardiologist who I have had contact with, and there have been many, who was willing to take the time to work with me. It has been more than a month since that horrible day when I connected with the wall. He has put me on a… new medication that is not traditionally used to control blood pressure. He told me that there has been research to indicate that the medication can be tweaked to fit different individuals. IT WORKS! He's the best, he listens and pays attention, asks many questions and most of all....he assures me that he is in for the duration and won't quit until my quality of life improves. What more could I possibly ask of my cardiologist? I am very thankful to have been treated by Dr Baiju in the hospital and even more thankful that he is now my cardiologist. It was a terrible day when I fell but a blessed day when I was treated by Dr Baiju. Would I recommend him? ABSOLUTELY and WITHOUT ONE MOMENT OF HESITATION! HE HAS BROUGHT A WONDERFUL CHANGE TO MY HEALTH AND MY LIFE!
