Dr. Pradipta Ghosh, MD

She's dishonest, one of the worst, non recommendable, patients will suffer.

I have seen Dr. Ghosh for eight years and she has always taken the time to listen and suggest treatments catered to my needs. She is encouraging and is always following up with me. I am not the best patient to do what I need to do and she will email me and remind me of things that need to be done. Follows up with me when I have seen other doctors re other things. I recommend her. Other negative posts, those people are just not happy people or have issues within themselves.

I have never met a more arrogant, rude, uncaring and dismissive doctor. She basically entered the room with an attitude. She did not do a physical exam and she was not at all interested in taking a history (did not care how my illness had started, how long it had been going on, etc...). She repeatedly accused me of Googling things or watching ads on television for medications that she said she wouldn't prescribe for my condition. I was pretty confused by this because I never brought up any medications and I most certainly have not been getting medical information from Google--I rely on my doctors for medical information. She also didn't listen and tried to twist what I told her. E.g. I said that, for a while, when my illness started, I had felt too bad to exercise, but now that I was feeling better, I had been able to start exercising again. She twisted that around to, "So, you started exercising and now you feel better." She obviously didn't like it when I corrected her that… this was not what I'd said. During the visit, it became apparent that her medical knowledge is not good--she said many questionable things. When she couldn't explain some of my test results, she couldn't be bothered to ask another doctor or look anything up. She just said, "that's the extent of my medical knowledge." Wow. Just wow. I wouldn't see her again if she was the last doctor on Earth. By the way, I know (from talking to my friends after this visit) someone else who has seen this doctor and she got the same accusations about Googling stuff, watching medication ads on TV, etc. She also said that this Dr. Ghosh started off the visit incredibly dismissive/rude/arrogant, etc. and only started listening to her after she got upset and demanded, in no uncertain terms, that Dr. Ghosh not treat her that way. So, I guess that how she acted during my visit was typical of how she usually treats her patients (or at least patients who are new to her)?
