Dr. Prafulla Singh, MD

Dr Singh seemed to be very attentive to my concerns and 1st visit he ordered Physical Therapy, another xray and gave me a back brace for my back injury, I explained that I had a back brace that seemed to be helping, he shook his head no and called out to one of his assistants to bring in a back brace. The assistant came in with the back brace and put it on me, had me look over a recommendation sheet for use of the brace and had me sign it, I did not receive a copy of the recommendations upon leaving and couldn't remember all the facts but failed to ask for a copy. But that is not why I am writing this review. Upon leaving the office Dr. Singh mentioned that I could not return the brace, I thought that was a rather odd statement but didn't really think about it until I received a bill for the office visit. I called to get an itemized statement and there was a charge for his visit which was 1100.00 and a second charge for the brace which was 1100.00 as well. I promptly cancelled my… follow up with him and explained to the office staff that I could not afford his fees and would find another pain specialist. Upon researching the back brace online I found the exact brace for 129.00 and would assume it came with a copy of recommendations for free. This is one of many reasons our health care system is so broken, and a seemingly well paid physician will need another way to make money off of the system. Obviously my insurance wouldn't pay the full amount of the back brace and the remainder was billed to me. I will be paying the balance but told them I could only afford 5.00 a month. I know this little petty act on my part will not affect Dr Singh financially but it made me feel better. In the meantime, I will be looking for another pain specialist and will ask plenty of questions at my initial visit.

I had a large herniation of my L5-S1 disc. I went from not being able to stand to full release within a couple of months. Dr. Singh was personable and professional. I received 2 steroid injections from him and never felt any discomfort with those procedures. He even personally called my insurance when I had an issue getting approved for one of my shots because he knew I was in pain.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Singh for 20 years. We have had injections in our backs with great results. I have been a patient for pain management. Dr. Singh is very thorough and attentive. Dr. Singh is an excellent doctor and a wonderful person.

My husband & I have been with Dr. Singh got many years. I have never met a more knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, & professional doctor in the 40 years I have chosen my doctors. He is most definitely the role model for all doctors, no matter what their speciality. He instills a deep trust, tranquility, & hopefulness when you talk to him about your health concern. A+++

Dr. Singh is an Awesome Dr., but more importantly a good person.

After having excruciating pain in my back for years, having tons of therapy that didn’t help, Dr. Singh was my guardian angel. He injected my spine with pain medication and they worked. I have never been happier to be pain free. I would recommend Dr. Singh to anyone suffering with pain. Thank you Dr. Singh.

After trying many doctors and many treatments, I was sent to Dr. Singh and finally got the relief I needed. Dr. Singh tried different types of treatments until he found the one that was right for me. I cannot express my gratitude enough for giving me my life back.

I honestly did not believe ANYONE could manage my extreme, constant spine pain using any method. It was a process and I am so grateful that I was sent to Dr Singh on the advice of a neuro-surgeon. I had a constant pain level of about 6 for a few years. I have been pain free with NO NARCOTICS for 9 months.

After going thru PT and taking pain pills I found Dr. Singh and his caring, listening, concerned manner gave me the confidence that he could help me walk up right and regain my life back. I was not disappointed in the trust I put in him. The injections put me on the road to walking, getting up and down from chairs just being a normal active person, able to resume my life style...Traveling all over the world without concern that I couldn't do things. His staff is wonderful, caring, pleasant, friendly and most helpful. I highly recommend him to anyone going thru a situation they find draining their life out of them.
