Dr. Pragnesh Rajnikant Shah

Dr. Shah recently attended to one of my family members while they were in the hospital at TGH Spring Hill Hospital who was injured. My family member could not walk and left in the bed. Because of this they could have developed a blood clot in the leg that went to the lung. Dr. Shah did not order anything to prevent that such as shots or the pumps that keep blood flowing in the legs. Do not let TGH Spring Hill Hospital give you Dr. Shah

He will hesitate to sign papers if your love ones pass away

Words can't express how horrible this man(word used loosely ) is, suffers from extreme narcissistic personality disorder and God complex. He dismissed our concerns and requests for further testing and discharged my mother with no plan for pain management other than follow up with her PCP after she was diagnosed with Gastritis and had required morphine drip for 3 days in hospital . She had not gotten and better or any treatment and was suffering in terrible pain and the only thing to ease pain was the morphine every 4 hours. If you are unlucky enough to get this Doctor run the other way. Your care and health are in serious danger with this disgusting excuse of a dr. shah

Had the misfortune of being admitted to Memorial Sugarland with Dr Shah as the attending. Dr Shah immediately took the position that there was nothing wrong with me and after I had to request a test he became quite adversarial. He shows no interest in his patient only test results. And only test results he chooses to believe. The test that I insisted on showed gall bladder was not draining into the bile duct but because the MRI showed no obstruction he dismissed the hida test. Then Dr Shah insisted on discharging me still symptomatic. Discharge papers included a prescription for phenagren which I am allergic to and was clearly marked all over my chart and in fact marked as an allergy at the top of the prescription itself! Leading one to believe this doctor doesn't even look at the chart. This doctor has an ego problem hindering his abilities as a physician. Dr Shah has horrid bedside manner. Upon trying to communicate with Dr Shah he would not let me ask questions or speak he insisted… upon informing my wife and I that HE WAS THE DOCTOR. That he had the medical training not us. Dr Shah when pressed got irritable and would not show or discuss any test results with us. I have never experienced a physician in which I have less confidence.
