Dr. Pragya Katoch, MD

Just for info: about a month ago I had a doctor's appointment with the doctor I have used for the last few years. They gave me some papers to fill out. On one where it said if insurance didn't pay that I would. I wrote a note saying that "if Medicare & Tricare would not pay then don't do it". Everyone in there got upset at me, I just stood there & listened, when they got to loud I ask them what they were arguing with, they looked around and seeing everyone in the waiting room looking one ask me to come back to her office where she started trying to get me to take it off. When I wouldn't she told me that i was dismissed and they would no longer see me. I have been writing this on their forms for years. It was a doctor with Huntsville hospital. When I tried to talk with the patient advocate I had to leave several msg with the service saying they would return my call as soon as possible, I have not heard from them. Just for Info May 18, 2023 update. The investigator for Medicare… told me I did nothing wrong. The investigator said no one at doctors office will return her calls and once they hung up on her after hearing who was calling. I talked with a lady that said she is a director with HH, she also said I did nothing wrong and she would retrain the ones in that office. After I talked with her I finally got a call from a patient advocate. I am confused somewhat as to what good any of this will do me?

Several bouts of miscommunication regarding bloodwork orders, notes in my patient records and two cancelled appointments. I will give them one final attempt to reconcile professional stance. I must go to alternate physician if things don't improve. I don't feel valued as a patient.

Dr Katoch is a great doctor, listens to my symptoms and very caring.

Dr. Katoch is cold, uncaring, her office staff is also uncaring and slow. It does not seem to matter that they are dealing with a person's health and well being.

Dr. Pragya is so smart and a dedicated doctor. She is very caring and compassionate. Wish all the doctors could be as nice as her. She listens patiently and answers all the questions. Best doctor in Huntsville, I highly recommend her.! Waiting time may be a little long, but you get answers after seeing her.
