Dr. Avhad is warm and personable, spends a good amount of time with me, answers all my questions, has worked hard to help resolve my pain issues. Her Edison office staff is wonderful.

Dr. Avhad has been my pain management specialist for approximately two years. Dr. Avhad has excellent bedside manners and has always made me feel that I have been listened to. She is extremely thorough and conservative in her treatment. However she is also willing to refer out to other specialist to create a comprehensive treatment plan. I have received epidural and facet injections with good results. Dr. Avhad has also performed Radio Frequency Ablation to both right and left sides with appropriate results. My wife is currently being treated by Dr. Avhad. I have recommended Dr. Avhad to family and friends. I would highly recommend Dr. Avhad for your pain management needs.

i had injections from dr. Ahvad and i received somewhat relief. The Dr. is kind, professional and caring.

Referred to by hospital ER after being prescribed increasing dosages of Percocet and Dilaudid for seven herniated discs and back muscle sprains. This doctor "do[es] not believe in opioids" for pain management. Prescribed Tramadol and Lidocaine patches, and instructed to supplement with acetaminophen and ibuprofen. After waiting three weeks for an appointment, this was absolutely a complete waste of time.
