Dr. Prajesh Mani Ghimire, MD

Ghimire is who I blame for my father’s passing. Lied about his credentials, was mean, grossly negligent, arrogant, heartless, and the reason sickle cell patients and black people don’t trust doctor. Committed serious medical malpractice, against the advice of other doctors and without patient or healthcare proxy legal consent.

He should not be practicing. Zero stars is too high for this arrogant and uncaring man. Repeatedly for four days requested to see him so he would run a blood test for my dads gout flare up and a chest X-ray as his cough got worse during his stay. Instead of ordering two simple things he discharged my dad with zero advance notice which meant my now bedridden dad came home with no aide or help set up. And he’s sicker than when he went in. Disgraceful. Dr Ghimire should be ashamed of himself. Albany med needs to take a hard look at this guy- shouldn’t be working at a level 1 trauma hospital
