Dr Patel was my father's doctor and did a bypass. It had been 15 years. He saw my father and said "It's leaking" we need to do this and this" It came down to operate and perhaps redo the bypass. I decided we needed a second opinion. We went to a large teaching hospital to the South of us which is famous for its cardiac work. The wonderful doctor we got there who is now with the Cleveland Clinc and who was head of his divison's speciality department said "What on earth is he talking about? They don't LEAK." After through tests and reviews, they changed medication and adjusted it. He also became our doctor. Dr. Patel recommended a operation that was NOT needed and was medically wrong about the facts. We do not go there.

my husband arrived exactly on time for his appt. we sat in the waiting room for over 15 minutes, at which time the receptionist called us up to the window and told us we would not be seen that day because we had arrived 4 minutes late. our watches are set by satelite, they are VERY accurate. we were NOT late! our insurance co. was billed for this visit! i have since spoken to other patients at that office, and several people had the same experience. we are now looking for another cardiologist. this office has NO regard for their patients, they seem to be very arrogant, as if they are better than anyone who enters their office , the receptionist seemed to get a great deal of satisfaction when she told us to leave , stating that all things revolve around their inaccurate clock. an office run on power plays, with absolutly NO regard to their patients. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS DOCTOR- HE CERTAINLY DOES NOT SUPPORT HIS PATIENTS.
