Dr. Prakash Sampath, MD

Dr. Sampath was a godsend to me. After my neck surgery my shoulder pain was gone. I would highly recommend him to anyone! He really cares about his patients!

Went to set follow up appointment from result of my MRI like the surgeon told me to do yet the staff refused to make me an appointment and told me I would have to wait on the dr to call me back. After the fact that I was following the directionsof what the dr told me to do.

I called the office to schedule a new patient appointment it took about two months from going back and forth with the secretary who was clueless, finally got an appt and the doctor was 3 ours late and the staff was running around like they never seen a patient before. Very rude and unpleasant office, no courtesy to the patients, and apparently from what I was told they were very short staff and management is never there to solve any problems. That says a lot and I will not be coming back.

Dr. Sampath is a compassionate understanding individual who included my family in the surgical decision as well as pre and post operative conferences. If necessary, I would not hesitate to return to him or Roger Williams Hospital.

This doctor only cares about surgery and his staff are rude specially the office manager who has no class and no knowledge of anything going on. She was so loud that I over heard her conversation with a staff of how the doctor cares for surgery patients only. Enough said I will never go back there.

Dr Sampath does not bother with you after the surgery. Even at the hospital. A Pa took care of me at the hospital, who was young and not experienced.I had to page Dr Sampath numerous times. All he does is yes you. He does not handle appts for meds, you have to see the Pa.Who is not familiar with your case, supposely the two " communicate", not true.The staff is rude. The wait is forever.Goo luck!!

I will go back to Dr. Sampath if I need anymore surgery. I recoved very well. I have also recommend him to others.

Dr Sampath and his staff performed two surgeries on me in the past 2-3 years. I am currently 1 week and 4 days out from the last operation which was my lwr spine L2-L5. I have the utmost confidence in the abilities of He and His Staff. Hopefully I will never need His services again but if I do I will not hesitate to call again

Dr. Sampath is a skilled, compassionate, dedicated surgeon. My mother had a life threatening condition and Dr. Sampath jumped into action, kept us informed, explained everything in a medically precise but understandable way, and performed emergency surgery for a brain tumor. Upon release to a rehab facility we had a medical concern unrelated to the tumor but a general post surgical issue. I paged Dr. Sampth's service at 6:30 on Saturday evening. HE called me back within 5 minutes. All I can say is you want Dr. Sampath and his team on your team in a medical crisis.
