Dr. Prameela Durga Goli, MD

Dr. Goli is a caring, compassionate and brilliant rheumatologist. She really cares about her patients and is determined to help them. My autoimmune disease was very complicated, but she got it completely under control. I feel blessed to be her patient..

I've been hurting for 26 of my 29 years of life and was so excited to see a rheumatologist to figure out what is wrong with me and how to manage it. She came in and did a very fast, vague exam. She said "I think I know what is wrong" and ran blood tests. One of the markers was off the charts, but since the RA factor was negative, she called me and said the off the charts result could be due to a thousand different things and to keep taking the sleep aid she prescribed. No other tests. No further effort. I don't need help sleeping. I need answers. I feel dismissed, and I'm so frustrated because I should not be hurting so bad that I can't use my hands and can't walk some days. She doesn't care. I'll be trying to get a referral to a different, more caring provider. So so so disappointing.
