Coerced me into giving uninformed consent for procedure. His attitude during the discussion about the procedure (that I was NOT given until AFTER I had to sign the consent form) was that discussing this procedure with me was a waste of HIS time. Avoid this doctor AT ALL COSTS. He is unprofessional and unethical.

My husband & I are from out of state when I had to rush him to the ER at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange. He had to have an emergency appendectomy. Dr. Batra was called into the hospital with very little notice to perform the surgery. He came to introduce himself before the surgery & explained exactly how the procedure was going to be done & he also included the post operative instructions. My husband came through surgery with flying colors. He stayed the night & was released the next day with a prescription of some pain medication which he never filled. He took a Motrin the day he was released & one the next morning & that was it!

the doctor is rude. he not compassionate. he made a rude remark to me while examining me.
