He is smart and pays attention to everything. Skilled and knowledgeable, he presents info rapidly so others need to ask questions if they min He lacks a little though in social skills and can be blunt in his comments and expects the patient to assert themselves in the conversation. If you don’t like something, you need to tell him.

Complete disregard for patient care: negligence, and malpractice lawsuits should be pursued. Run, don’t walk from his office.

Terrible dr. Prescribed medication on allergy list and failed to mention critical mri findings that later led to more severe symptoms. Very rude and hurries you out without listening to concerns.

My son who has Asperger, Anxiety, and Depression was referred to Dr. Kanneganti by his Neurologist for treatment for Essential Tremors. Dr. Kanneganti was extremely rude and condescending. Without actually saying it - he basically implied that my son was faking his tremors. Needless to say, his unprofessional behavior exacerbated my sons anxiety and depression.

This doc had me so doped up on medications two years ago with terrible side effects, had I remained a patient I would have lost my job, been on disability or disabled others. I am amazed he is still in practice. got rid of all the bad meds and advice he gave and improved immediately. run, don't walk, out of this guy's office.

He actually told me my symptoms weren't getting worse, after one visit when I just told him they were. How can you be a doctor if you tell patients they don't know what is obviously happening? Terrible experience. Laughed at me when I asked a simple question if an MRI can have any bad side effects. Didn't tell me what he was doing before he did it. Hardly talked. Treated me like an idiot from minute one. How is he a doctor? Run away fast from this guy.

First question from Dr. to us: "What are you doing here?" Possibly if he'd have reviewed any single piece of notes from the referring Dr. he may have had a clue. Important to us... not to him. Stroke victim that has two total occlusions in heart and fighting every day to stay alive. Then, without any notification to us, he took it upon himself to tell the alternative Surgeon office (non Prevea affiliated) "no hope - BAD risk - don't do it". After calling Dr. K. to find out why a bad risk for surgery at another location, but good candidate for Prevea Surgeon, his staff said he didn't get involved in technical questions and they "thought" it might have been determined by the blood thinners required. We asked staff what was the difference in meds from one surgery to the next, and they said "no idea, and Dr. K does not get involved in meds". Well, then he should have stayed out of it in the first place! No idea? No answers? = NO OPINION! But it sure put a damper on any hopes we… had. Now we just have to wait to see if he calls to let us know how he made the decision, what reasoning could have been used?? Who knows. He didn't even know why we were there in the first place! Obviously not prepared! Will be referring the case to Dept of Health Services - hopefully before death occurs. IF anything good comes of this we will definitely update you poor folks we need accurate information.

This man is a real tool. If you want someone that doesn't care one bit about anything you have happening. I walk in and walk out. Then put on all your records that you are crazy. The only thing I can say about me being crazy was letting them make my appointment with him!

Dr. Kanneganti provided misleading information that was generalized in regards to a family member who was suffering from specific back issues that mimicked certain other symptoms. The review here is brief for the purpose of educating the public, yet remaining private. However, the overall impression of this doctor is poor at best. (and I was with the patient in question during the exam) lack of proper responses, and making diagnostics without tests and "thinking" what the issue was. Only to have us realize with another clinic that we received an incorrect diagnoses. The office was very trivial when seeking medical records, which met the level of an all out lie.

My mother had a history of a brain tumor which was operated on and supposed to have been reduced by radiation. She had symptoms and a mini seisure, so she had an emergency MRI and was hospitalized at St. Vincents at about 5:00 Friday. The neurologist couldn't see her that night, so they said he would be in the very next morning. We waited, and waited, and waited. About 12:00 Dr. Kanneganti strolls in in street cloths with no gloves on. He asks a bunch of questions and does a neurological exam. We asked if her tumor was back. He gave us general answers/education about tumors and neurological problems which had NOTHING to do with what asked. It was evident that he did not read mom's complete file/history. He said he would be back because he hadn't even read the MRI report yet. He popped his head back in and said he saw her MRI fom earlier that year. He said that we will wait a couple months to do another MRI, and I mentioned she had one the day before. He said he did not know that and… was going to go look at the results. He never came back. Mom was discharged without ANY results or recommendations by Dr. Kannegati. That God we have our own neurologist and we are smart enough to ask him to check the results. Mom could have died from her expanding brain tumor without even knowing it was back thanks to the wonderful thorough care of Dr. Kanneganti.
