Rude dr. Very unprofessional staff

Dr. Desai has been very kind and gentle with my granddaughter. He helped get her diagnosed and has been extremely helpful every step of the way. Thank you.

This doctor is a joke! Don't waste your time with this egotistical , woman hater! My son had a concussion from a pretty bad fall. He is experiencing headaches, pain,nausea, jitters,emotional outbursts, and is up all night long since this accident. But don't worry the doctor tells me nothing is wrong with my child, it's all physiological and it's because I'm a bad mother! What a idiot, he didn't care my son is autistic and legally blind or about any past history. This "doctor" is a joke and waste of space!!

"People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care" ~~ Retirement should be given serious consideration by this doctor. He was short, with an air of "I don't give a @#$% -type attitude", would not even recommend him for a cat infested with fleas!

Brought my son here to talk about his epilepsy and all Desai didn't even look at him, he just looked at the file and prescribed meds and rushed us out the door. He should not be in pediatrics!! He threatens to leave the room and come back after all his other patients are done if my child tries to talk! I told him the meds were too strong and my little 4yr old was drooling and zombie-like and he got mad and told me to find another dr if I want to question his authority!!! That said, he closes his file, he rushes me out of the room so he can get to his other patients.

I am very impressed with Dr. Desai. He has great bedside manners, listens and watches very closely. I took my daughter to him for differentreasons and both times he made her feel comfortable. I did not have to wait long. He took time to listen and treated her by her name not a number! I would recommend him to anybody and everybody he nows his stuff and he is Great!

Once appt. is made,you are informed in advanced of possible wait. Understandable! He spends as much time as needed with the patient and answer your questions until you are fully comprehending his explanations.

Waited an hour to see doc. Waiting room very small and full of people. My daughter has been suffering from headaches for a long time. After examining, doc asked if I thought she knew what a headache was (after she explicitly explained her pain to him) and he told me I need to stop asking her if she has a headache, that I may be putting the thought in her head by asking the question. Couldn't wait to get out of the office and will drive miles to another ped neuro for another appt.
