Veteran and Tricare friendly doctor that truly wanted to help because he actually cared about my pain and quality of life. He did not want to rush to perform surgery and allowed time for less evasive processes to work. When they didn't he was able to fairly quickly get me scheduled for surgery. The procedure went exactly as he described. My pain level was reduced so much that 2 days after surgery I did not need pain medicine anymore. Recovery also went exactly as he predicted. Dr. Kelkar is outstanding, professional and the only doctor that I will allow to ever touch my back again. I do not want to see him again, but if I have to I have nothing but extreme confidence in his ability to help with my back issues.

Dr. Kelkar is an excellent physician, with a great bedside manner. He never made me feel rushed and explained in detail my condition and my options to relieve my paralysis, which worked, which avoided a fusion. I immediately felt relief, right after surgery, with every day gaining my mobility back.

Dr. Kelkar is a phenomenal physician who is very knowledgeable in his field and is extremely compassionate. He is excellent at explaining everything to you and is not in a hurry to perform surgery. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a brain or spine doctor.

I have a lot of experience recently with different specialists. By far dr Kelkar’s office is the best. The office staff is engaged and have expertise in what they do. Dr Kelkar provided excellent surgical care and has excitement about the job he does. It’s infectious. The only downside is the website, which I s difficult to understand and use.

I was nervous to have back surgery of any kind however Dr. Kelkar explained everything so well that it made my decision a quick one. My recovery was incredibly quick, I had almost no pain within just 4 days. I was very happy with my care and know that this choice was absolutely worth it.

My mother was diagnosed with a rather large brain aneurysm at the age of 86. We put our trust in Dr. Kelkar. She came through the surgery successfully. After her latest checkup her aneurysm was gone. His bedside manner is excellent and he explains everything in detail so you can understand. This man saved her life and we're eternally grateful. I have my mom thanks to him.
