Dr. Prashant Raui Rao

I absolutely DO NOT recommend this dentist at all. As a potential new patient (of Dr. Rao), I had an appointment, scheduled at least a month or more in advance, and I received a call (close to the time of my appointment) stating that the day/time I was scheduled, the dentist was not available. So of course I asked, "if he is not available, why would my appointment be scheduled at that time?" And the response was, "I don't know. He doesn't work on those days and I guess the other scheduler made a mistake". HOW DOES AN EMPLOYEE WHO IS HIRED TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS FOR A DENTIST NOT KNOW THE DENTIST'S SCHEDULE???? I have never heard such ridiculousness in my entire life and there was no apology, no taking accountability, no attempting to rectify the matter by finding an appointment at the same time/on a sooner day....nothing. This is beyond poor customer service. This is just sad. Sad that employees do not know how to do their job and especially sad that I'm sure other patients… have gone through the same thing. There are too many dentists in the Charlotte area to have to deal with this so I highly recommend you avoid the confusion and nonsense at this office and seek out a dentist/office that knows what they are doing.
