Dr. Praveen K. Mambalam, MD

Dr. Mambalam is more interested in treatments he can bill than the well being of his patients. He is cold and seems disinterested in anything I had to say. I would avoid this doctor if you actually want someone to help manage your pain.

Its the way he talks. Lacking compassion and sympathy. Dropped him instantly. No way. Never again. I must say he is almost the worst doc I have ever seen in my life.

Dr. Mambalam explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. I feel very confident in Dr. Mambalam.

His information is narrow and overall uninformed. Washington Center for Pain Management says they are "multi-disciplinary" but ACTIVELY DISCOURAGE pain management with ANY OTHER DISCIPLINE.

He is a bully. I was with him for less than ten minutes and he made feel like I was a criminal. He is very closed minded and gives out bad information. I would NOT recommend him to my enemies let alone my friends. He considers his patients liabilities. He charged me $700. I'm never going back there again.

I just saw this doctor for the first time. He interrupted me ever time I spoke. He raised his voice to a uncomfortable level. I left his office feeling a bit frightened of him. After reading his reviews I can see that many of his patients have had the same feeling. I would not recommend him to a relative or a friend.

I wish instead of interrupting me to insist I'm addicted to my pain medication he would listen and be compassionate. In all my years I have never run into someone so unwilling to work with me unless I agree to the injections in my spine, which I will not do. I came to this practice with a pain management plan that had been working for me and wasn't asking for more medication but a continuance of the plan I already had in place. I think I will begin looking for a new Dr

Arrogant and is quick to get a patient in for clinical procedures that benefit him financially but only cause patients with pain additional unnecessary increases of stress and more pain. If you are looking for actual help with pain management, do not see this doctor.

I'm not convinced he's really working for the patients benefit. I will return his pill prescription without refill. Wrong side of the mmj debate.

All they care about is making money.
