Preeti Mokka, OD

Dr. Preeti Mokka is a residency-trained pediatric optometrist. After earning her optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry, she completed a residency in pediatric optometry in 2015.
Her clinical expertise spans myopia control, amblyopia, strabismus, and pediatric aphakia. She is deeply passionate about providing high quality eye care tailored to the diverse needs of each child.
Beyond clinical care, Dr. Mokka is a recognized leader in equity, diversity and inclusion within the Department of Ophthalmology at Boston Children’s Hospital and serves as a liaison for the Hospital's EDI committee. Her research focuses on understanding barriers to healthcare, with the goal of improving pediatric health equity and expanding access to care in underprivileged communities. Dr. Mokka spearheads youth outreach programs and actively mentors high school, college, and optometry students, preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals.
