I was referred to Dr. Poley for macular degeneration. Dr. Poley was fantastic! She was thorough, she took time to talk with me about my condition and provided education while showing me the scans of my eyes. I have referred my mom to her because I felt like I received great treatment. Also, her office staff were very friendly, professional, and kind.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Poley. I needed emergency retina detachment surgery, and Dr. Poley moved many things to immediately perform the surgery. I had a seizure during a retina tear repair treatment. I luckily came to but they didn’t bother to proceed to call 911 after I woke, then had me sign off on the procedure AFTER I had a seizure and was confused on what even happened, then proceeded to tell me they thought I had a seizure but I most likely just passed out while proceeding scoot me out the back door for my dad to drive me to the er where I’m currently still admitted, and still made my dad pay for the procedure before he was able to help me in his truck to take me to the hospital. DO NOT trust this dr. I can’t believe I let myself follow through with doing the laser the same day of consulting about a tear.

I had been seeing another retinal specialist who made me wait hours (up to 6!) and had to dialate me twice in the same visit. Dr. Poley on the other hand, keeps to a good time schedule, doesn’t make one feel like a bother or like a cow (in the cattle chute) and takes the time to fully explain everything she does. I will definitely be getting my retinal services from her from now on! And I will recommend her highly to anyone else needing that type of service!

Dr. Poley has been successfully treating me for macular degenerate. She is a skilled Dr,and I highly recommend her.She has saved my eye sight. Her staff is wonderful too.

Dr Poley from day one has been kind and caring..very professional. I had a detached retina and she explained things to me and allowed me to ask questions then she answered them. In the 16 months I have been seen by her and her team, I have never had a bad experience. She’s honest and has made this traumatic eye surgery much easier for me to deal with. I highly recommend her for eye procedures.

My husband has diabetic retinopathy and needed injections in his eyes. His first shot from her, she seemed nervous giving the injection--it wasn't supposed to hurt, but it did. Another time, he heard her yelling at another patient. My husband was concerned about side effects of a medication, and she lost patience with him and started reprimanding him like he was a little kid. He doesn't trust her to put a needle in his eye!
