Dr. Prem Krishan Tambar, MD

When I saw Dr. Tambar a few years ago because of arthritis in my hands that has made my fingers a bit deformed, he agreed that I have arthritis and he told me to stop looking at my hands! How's that for a statement from a doctor.

my husband has been seeing dr tambar for years and he has helped him tremendously with his knees. has had injections in the past, and they seem to help

He is very rude and only think of $$$$. Does extra tests all the time.

I have been seeing Dr. Tambar for 5 years now and I was compelled to post this comment when I saw some of the poor ratings. Dr. Tambar has shown nothing but concern and compassion for my situation and has treated me with the utmost respect. We discuss not only my medical issues but we have also shared stories about our families. I have never been made to feel like a number. He has also been incredibly responsive to the changing needs of my RA. He has continually expressed great concern over the years about my disease progression and has stressed the need to be proactive in order to ensure the best quality of life not only now but for my future - I was diagnosed at 40 and I am now 46. In all honesty, I had never been very conscientious about taking my meds (Humira and MTX previously). Dr. Tambar would counsel me on how important it was to be consistent even though my RA was considered mild and presented few symptoms but that all changed a few months ago when the arthritis in my wrists… became severe. It was then that I realized how accurate everything he had been telling me had been. Needless to say I now take my meds religiously (Orensia infusions currently) and, if I ever doubted his knowledge and experience, I don't anymore.

I think Dr. tambar is the worst Dr. that i have ever been to.

will never go back to himI do not feel he is a good doctorIt's not his missing bedside mannerIt's his lack of empathy for someone in pain, he has none.I think he needs to put his tape recorderaway and talk with the patient instead of talking about them.

the doctor is not sure what he is doing when it comes to lupus but this is the only doctor in niagara falls so he feels he can treat people the way he wants, he dont treat women with respect and his personality is very very non-caring we need some one to check this guy out he needs to be exposed

He was very good at discovering the cause of my pain, which is RA. He was able to go over all the treatment options that are available to me. He even had another Dr., in his office, come in and give a second opinion on my condition right then and there. He is very good and always on time.

i just started with seeing this doctor last year, and my overall review is poor. i feel like he doesn't take my health seriously. he treats me like a child, and has not sat down at every appointment to explain my illness. i have systemic lupus. chronic body pain syndrom, and carpal tunnel syndrom. he has not held conversation with me except with nerve testing. he doesn't update my medical doctor. he just need to treat me like a patient and not black contadgest lady.
