When things go smoothly this Dr. is a 5 . When there is a mistake made , it was my fault “for wearing too much eye makeup” Went to Mayo Clinic where they informed me this was Dr.Klous fault and “He knows it’s his fault! I hope you were compensated “ Nope I was told I wore too much eye makeup……ridiculous. I had to order special drops as I have severe reactions to the ones typically used. Dr. Klous told me to bring them , I did and day of surgery nurse REFUSED to look at them yet alone use them. I wish I had yanked i V out and left. They collected over 2,000.00 in advance!!!! Please don’t hope it will be ok , you only have one set of eyes. He said upon checking me “ I have never before seen this “ I said that nurse of yours did not use the eye drops! He literally SCREAMED at me! He YELLED” THAT IS NOT RIGHT ! You wear too much eye makeup! I would stay far away from him . Two personalities

My experiences with Dr Kloess go back to 98?99? I was a nurse at Montclair (yes, isn't that wild!) and I saw information up in the hospital. Needless to say, Dr Kloess did my LASIK. AT that time we met at Emory because there was not a laser in Bham or not one he preferred. I could see really well right away! I looked at him and said I can see! We hugged and he said I love what I do! What a kind, lovely, happy doctor and person??. May be sending my son his way soon.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH DR KLOESS WAS MANY YRS AGO. ACTUALLY WAS 25 YRS AGO AT WILFORD HALL MEDICAL CTR. THAT WAS HIS ASSIGNED HOSPITAL. MY VISION WAS VERY BAD. HE DID MY CATARACT SURGERY ON MY RIGHT EYE. WHAT EXCITMENT FOR ME AS MY SIGHT WAS PERFECT IN MY RIGHT EYE. BUT I WAS DISAPPOINTED AS HE LEFT THE AIR FORCE TO OPEN HIS OWN PRACTICE IN ALA. WELL I DECIDED TO FOLLOW HIM TO ALA. FOR MY LEFT EYE, HAD SURGERY AGAIN AND PERFECT. NOW I COULD REALLY SEE. HE GOT ME IN TROUBLE AS I NOW COULD SEE THE BLONDES MORE CLEARLY. NOW I HAVE ANOTHER PROBLEM SEVERE CASE OF DRY EYES AND HOPE TO SEE HIM AGAIN IN ALA. I HAVE NEVER DORGOTTEN DR KLOESS AND STILL PRAY FOR HIM AND HIS FAMILY ALL THE TIME. PLUS EACH YR. WE STILL EXCHANGE CHRISTMAS CARDS. NOW I NEED HIS EXPERTISE AGAIN, SO I HOPE TO SEE HIM AGAIN IF HE CAN FIT ME IN. DOC. PLEASE SAY HELLO TO JOY FOR ME. SHE IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL LADY. it is unfortunate but needed that i provide this review. in 2018 dr kloess performed cataract surgery on me to remove cataracts but also to correct my distance vision. after the first eye i told dr brown and dr kloess that the eye vision had not improved. after the second surgery both eyes showed minimal improvement. i met with both drs again and was told that my expectations were too high and did not offer any options. i recently met with another eye surgeon who offered me two options to improve my vision and i now have 20/20 vision. based on my experience and of another reviewer, my opinion is that this dr group is not willing to accept responsibility for their work nor do they want to be sure you have the best results. mistakes can happen but using an incorrect lens power can be corrected.
