Dr. Pritha Chitkara Browning, MD

The personality and demeanor of a fish on ice at the market and oh don't you dare question her about when a test was done or ordered, she will show some emotion then - anger and defensiveness. During a physical she will either read lab numbers off the computer screen or skim through a computer print out and point to numbers saying in range, out of range, cut back on fat, lose weight, or eat more protein, but not really explain the big picture. Had a couple EKGs done but never saw the results or had a comment made on them so I guess I have a heart that works enough to pay the bill for her lack of communication skills and zero eye contact. Perhaps she needs to perform research and get out of the people business and deal with lab rats? Strongly recommend avoiding this doctor.

Dr. P. Browning is the best of the best. If you are sick in anyway go to her. She is smart and caring.

Dr. Browning listens to your issues and assesses you needs to make a diagnosis.

I was one of Dr. Browning's first patients when began her practice in 1998. She has been there for me through every medical concern I've had. I have trusted and have relied on her 100% for all these years. Friday I received a letter from her telling me my business is no longer wanted and our professional relationship has been terminated. No reason for this decision was mentioned. I am devastated and have no idea what to expect from a "new" doctor. I've been through a lot over the past 15+ years, can't understand how a patient file can be viewed as another item on the lunch menu. Invite me back Dr. Browning, I value your service and medical professionalism.

I recommend Dr. Browning because even though I am overweight, unlike other doctors, she never assumed everything could be fixed just by losing weight. She treats me based on the symptoms and issues that I am experiencing, is patient and understanding. I sense genuine care and concern with my visits.

Waited in exam room for 45 minutes before dr came in. She was very nice though

Dr. Browning spends as long as it takes to get to the bottom of things and listens to the patient's concerns and problems. This, alone, provides a unique experience among physicians. Because she listens and cares about her patients, she has always made a correct diagnosis of my problems and provided the appropriate course of treatment. The only downside of this is that I am often required to spend up to 45 minutes in her waiting and treatment rooms before I see her. The time is worth it, however, because of the time and attention I receive once she gets to me. Her staff is kind and caring and not at all intimidating, especially since Dr. Browning and her partner split away from a larger, less accommodating group. Several of my family members go to Dr. Browning, and all of us have the same experience.

Intimidating Staff. Long wait up to an hour in cold room. If you are not already sick you might get sick by just visiting her office! It happened to me , i caught flu at her office. I suggestion to all: Avoid going to doctors office for regular reasons in flu season. Get is all done before or after!
