Dr. Katari is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Katari was born and raised in Westchester, New York. After receiving her undergraduate degree at Rice University she went on to pursue her interest in health policy and received an MS in Biomedical Science Policy and Advocacy from Georgetown University. She completed medical school at the University of Central Florida and residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. She then moved to Boston and completed a fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at Boston University/Boston Medical Center. Dr. Katari has a special interest in food allergy, asthma, and atopic dermatitis. Her research interests include asthma, quality improvement measures in patient education, and determinants of health and disparities in atopic diseases.

Dr. Priyana Katari is excellent, she provided my son immune testing . She is very kind, warm, patient.She took the time to learn all about my son’s past conditions, and then she gave my son an very accurate diagnosis and treatment after a series of test. She is great! She is a thoughtful and caring doctor! I would highly recommend Dr. Katari to anyone in need of a thoughtful and knowledgeable physician.

Dr. Priyana Katari is an outstanding doctor who recently provided allergy testing for my two sons. She took the time to explain the procedure to them and made sure they felt comfortable and at ease. Her thoroughness and willingness to listen to my concerns were greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I would highly recommend Dr. Katari to anyone in need of a caring and knowledgeable physician.

Great doctor. Conducted an allergy skin test on my four year old and was very patient and friendly talking through the results and next steps. My daughter also has eczema and she recommended an ointment to use for flareups until we see a dermatologist. Good bedside manner. Good with children.
