Dr. Priya Vengu Ramshesh, MD

Does not listen The absolute worst physician I encountered in a long time. She took no family history of blood disorders, argumentative about about history from 2008 which I told her did not cause anemia and I have proof of such. Dismissed me trying to talk about my deceased father’s spleen problems as well as my own. Called me argumentative and even said I should see a different hematologists. I’m 100% for that. She is rude and condescending and she met her match with me. She is cold, uncaring and does not even perceive a patient s fear. Her after visit clinical notes are extremely subjective up to falsifying record by reporting under a different staff person. Indicated I was inactive. This was information from 3 years ago with a ruptured disc. I am currently in cardiac tehab, water aerobics and walk 2-3 miles as a day as noted in my file. I would not take an ill flea to her.

I don’t even have words to thoroughly describe how dismissive and hateful she is. I can understand what a hard profession this must be - and even at times having to deliver sad news to patients - definitely not an easy job. In my opinion, she has no “bedside manner” and more importantly, lacks attention to detail, and follow through to help patients make informed decisions. Reading through multiple reviews on multiple sites - the majority are not good and I think that’s truly telling of her capabilities as a physician. The bad reviews are not wrong. She may have had a few good experiences with patients, but I’d bet they are few and far between. I would imagine she would probably be better suited working in research or without patient interaction. It’s also telling she hops between hospitals. Friendly advice, do better.

If this is your doctor please get a second opinion. I have been wanting to write this review for months but I haven’t had the strength. Dr. Ramshesh was negligent in my family members care. We contacted her constantly about our mother’s deteriorating memory and she did nothing (often not even returning phone calls). Then our family member had a seizure due to a golf ball sized tumor that had formed in her brain. After numerous pet scans , pet scans and Mris’s she never checked our family members brain. Our family member had surgery to remove the tumor and did not recover at the speed that she was looking for so she gave up on her and suggested we put her in hospice care. She turned her back because of her neglect. Please get a second opinion if this is your doctor.

Doctors have to earn respect, and listen to patients. We pay for your salary. No patients, no salary. Patients these days know as much as the doctors. Please be careful not to fabricate your story too much your superiors because a tape will be sent to them. The patients today are taking steps as well to show the real truth in the mainstream medical industry. We are tired of all the fabricated and twisted lies that comes out of their mouths, and the injuries they do upon patient upon patient. You think you will get away with it, but you won’t. It is wrong to treat a patient bad with no compassion at all when they are suffering just because you had a bad day. My son had cystic fibrosis and many other complications. He developed a clot because no proper testing was done and he died of massive heart attack from clot . Stay aways

If you want someone who is compassionate, turn the other way and run as fast as you. Too young and inexperienced

Always warm and friendly. Gives the best care and very concerned. She is very thorough.

I have mixed opinions about Dr. Ramshesh. My father has brain cancer that he is fighting. When we went to her office she seemed to be knowledgeable and very informative about his condition and I even sensed a bit of humanity that can be hard to find. However, after that, she just kind of disappeared and lost track of him and his radiation treatment at another hospital. Her lack of care and compassion (true colors?) shined through when I had to have the nurse page her one Friday evening because he was having extreme issues with a fever and high blood sugar. When she finally called back she seemed annoyed and simply said "give him Tylenol". Didn't ask any questions about his condition or anything. This of course gave me a false sense of comfort that maybe this is not as serious as it looked, so I put him in bed and got up and went to work the next day. When I came home to check on him at lunch, he had fallen and had been lying there for 2 hrs. Called 911, ER, etc. Turns out he… had a UTI and sepsis, so yea, would have been nice if she cared enough to ask more questions. But ever since then, he's been in the hospital and now nursing facility for 2 weeks since then, and haven't heard anything from her since. No attempt to set up with any tests or check on his condition. Nothing. And heaven forbid I page her again to try and talk to her. So if you're looking for a Dr that has a true interest in their patients, then look elsewhere...
