Dr. Dholakiya is very professional and all questions were answered in a way I could understand. She is very competent and confident and that put me at ease and made me comfortable with her care before and after my procedure.

Professional, yet caring. Confident, knowledgeable, and direct about my health , which I appreciated. She answered my questions and put me at ease at the consult when I met her and also on the day of surgery. Highly recommend.

I met Dr. Dholakiya in the ER after finding out I had Ovarian Cancer at 26. When I met her, she had this amazing compassionate and calm demeanor while still talking through this traumatic situation. She answered all of my questions, offered so much compassion, she seemed confident (which made me confident) and she explained everything to me thoroughly. Her office staff are also so wonderful and know me and my family now. I am so thankful that she is my doctor.

Dr. Dholakiya has a very nice manner. When you meet her in her office she seems very sincere, interested, and reassuring. She speaks well, seems kind. However, she performed a hysterectomy on a friend of mine, and thereafter my friend's intestinal tract and bladder ceased to function to such an extent that my friend had to have an emergency procedure to save her kidneys (because the urine was backing up and they were not draining)! This took place after a solid 15 months of reporting to Dholakiya that she was not able to void urine or evacuate her bowels. Every time we went to visit Dholakiya to discuss the lack of function...she had nothing to say, nothing to suggest. It was as if she didn't even hear that there was a problem; though clearly, there were serious complications from the surgery that she performed! Plenty of women have hysterectomies and don't have this result! If you or a family member need a hysterectomy, do your research and find another surgeon! We didn't, and now… have to live with the consequences and the regrets.

I like that she is caring and concerned yet she speaks frankly and tells and literally illustrates what is going on and what should be done to solve or help the problem.
