Dr. Priyank Chaudhary, MD

Dr Chaudhary is a good Rheumatologist. He is upfront and honest. Any concerns he will address them and make a clear explanation as to why or why not a treatment, medication etc may or may not work. Hate he is leaving the Rocky Mount area

Dr. Chaudhary is an excellent Rheumatologist who provides exceptional care to his patients. I am a RN who has been sent to several Rheumatologists in an attempt to get a definitive diagnosis. Not only has Dr. Chaudhary diagnosed me, but also has me on the correct medication; which has me pain free. I cannot thank Dr. Chaudhary enough for his care and services.

This doctor is the biggest JERK I have ever met! Totally treated me with disrespect and did not listen to a word I said and ignored every question I had. Thank god he is leaving the practice! I will be happy to find a doctor that actually CARES about their patients....as Dr Chaudrey clearly does not care about his patients at all, only about the almighty dollar!

I had been without a diagnoses for over 5 years when I came to Dr. Chaudhary. I have dealt with many different symptoms that turned my life and my family's lives upside down. When I met Dr. Chaudhary I felt reassured by the 17 tubes of blood that was taken (lol) that he cared and he was going to make sure I lived a normal life. I have been his patient for about 9 months now and I have had a couple hiccups in the road but I am living my best life! As I write this review, this week makes the 6 year mark of my now treated diagnosis. The future use to be dark but not anymore. The future is bright. Thank you Lord and Thank you Dr. Chaudhary.

I have learned to look at the expertise of a doctor and not necessarily their bedside manners! However, Dr. Chaudhary was polite but focused on getting to the source and treating my problem. I feel like his bad reviews were merely misunderstandings of him. He is very serious about exploring all avenues to get to your problem and solve them. I saw him once in the office and once online. Very thorough, and attentive AND patient even when I was rude! I feel much better I have a better quality of life now. Thank you Dr. Chaudhary!

I have had 2 teleheath appointments with Dr. Chaudary, due to my concerns with coronavirus. My first one was in-depth and he set me up for bloodwork and xrays. At my second one, he went over all the tests and made suggestions as to how I should handle a couple of issues with pain and stiffness. I am impressed with his thoroughness and his willingness to use non-drug therapies for minor things. His office staff is really wonderful and so kind. I am glad he is my doctor and highly recommend him.

Made an appointment for treatment for my ongoing pain with an elbow. The office staff scheduled me right away. At my appointment Dr. Chaudhary was very thorough with the exam concerning my issue. He explained the most likely cause of the problem, performed a series of test, and treated me all in one appointment. After the treatment he explained the precautions I needed to take to ensure the procedure would have lasting results. Finally, he called to be sure I wasn’t having any problems with the treatment and to see if I had any questions. There would be no hesitation in scheduling another appointment with Dr. Chaudhary in the future.

Dr. Chaudhary has been a blessing. He diagnosed a life long condition I had been struggling with since I was a teen. He has always listened and been kind to me. He's been my doctor for almost 2 years and I have been making steady progress since being under his care. I have recommended him to all of my friends and family. He takes time to listen and I know he cares about my well being. He's been patient as we've worked through many medication side effects and went to bat with my insurance to help me get a medicine that finally works for me. He never gave up on getting an improved quality of life for me! Thank you Dr. Chaudhary!

I went for my second visit, he hadn't reviewed any of my numerous labs prior to the visit, didn't answer my questions, then just walked out of the room. He told me basically I was a poor historian & he didn't know what was wrong with me. There are a lot of good caring physicians out there, he isn't one.

I will not visit this Dr. again! This was a waste of my time, energy and my money. I waited over an hour with only 2 people in the waiting room. I get to a room, Dr. Chaudhary comes in, he never shakes my hand or even smiles. He had a very arrogant demeanor. Very unfriendly. I had to seek out a new doctor due to my former doctor in Raleigh retiring. In asking me questions during the exam, I had to repeat myself several times due to his lack of interest and repeatedly looking out the window. He was not listening, it seemed. I was diagnosed by a Rheumatologist in 1993 with Psoriatic Arthritis. After trying several different types of meds, I finally was put on Enbrel injection once a week. I have continued this medication since 2005, up until I had hip replacement and had to discontinue it to heal. So, needless to say after being off of it for a while and my joints hurting, I needed my medication refilled. This doctor, after a brief look and asking me where is my psoriasis,… tells me he doesn't think I have Psoriatic Arthritis AT ALL. I replied, " Well I didn't diagnose myself and no one takes that strong kind of medication just for fun!!" He points to a chart on the wall and says that I do not portray any of those symptoms. Really? I had also been having extreme pain in my shoulder, swelling on top of my shoulder, and unable to lift my arm fully because of the swelling. I had already seen an orthopedic dr. who x-rayed it and gave me an injection 3 weeks prior. Now, I am no doctor, but everything on the web describes bursitis to a tee. This doctor tells me he thinks it is a tear and wants to do an MRI. Ahhh, no! More money, more money, more money. I had the flu 3 weeks prior and laid in the bed for 5 days. That is when it started. No way that you can tear something lying dormant In the bed. I am only 56 and in relatively good shape. So, he ordered like 10 tubes of bloodwork, an x-ray of my feet and hands (not the shoulder hurting), and prescribed Prednisone. I started the prednisone yesterday. Already, I can see a difference. That is the one good thing he did. Other than that, spend your time and money somewhere else with a doctor who is really interested in your wellness, a doctor who listens, and a doctor doctor who is really interested in your wellness, a doctor who listens, and a doctor with experience. The end!!
