Dr. Prysca Ngalame Mbi, MD

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I became a patient here only after my longtime doctor passed away, and choosing this clinic has been one of the worst healthcare experiences I’ve ever had. The office is disorganized, unresponsive, and completely lacking in compassion or professionalism. I am a diabetic of 30 years, and I have had to repeatedly beg for prescription refills and basic communication regarding my care. Calls, emails, and messages go unanswered for days or weeks, despite having proof of my attempts to contact the office. On multiple occasions, I’ve shown up for scheduled appointments only to be told I needed to come back another day for bloodwork. I’ve also been told they were out of basic medical supplies, including needles. That is unacceptable for any medical clinic. The most upsetting experience happened after I had to cancel an appointment because my family was burying my mother-in-law the day before Mother’s Day. I notified the office and explained… the situation, yet instead of compassion or understanding, I was met with attitude and told I would not receive refills until I came in person. I already have another appointment scheduled, but it is weeks away, and I simply asked for enough medication to avoid running out in the meantime. I still have not received the refill or a meaningful callback. At this point, I no longer feel safe or cared for as a patient. My health has declined during my time under this clinic’s care, and I would never recommend this office to anyone managing a serious chronic condition. The only staff member I previously had a positive experience with was Ramon, but unfortunately this last interaction was disappointing as well. Patients deserve communication, professionalism, empathy, and continuity of care. I did not receive any of those here.

I was told if I do not like what she has to say to find another doctor, after yelling at me, she was very condescending towards me, because I disagreed with her. I have seen her for several years. She is very familiar with my family history and my weight trends. With my consistent effort of daily exercise, eating right, dropping 2 sizes I have reached a plateau. She declined modern medicine options for weight management. I would have to wait 6 weeks with a referral from a dietitian, "IF" they approve. She does not have a understanding of struggling with weight, and having 2 parents with diabetic backgrounds, some times when you're doing everything you can, and your doctor is not supportive at all. If I am already applying the Life style of Wellness in my daily routine, why would it be a problem. She never looked at my past patterns, did not pull up my blood records that I just had done. She came in with a bad attituded because I told her nurse, that she should know my history and… sometimes exercising and eating right is not enough for some individuals.

Excellent in every way, amazing staff, the promptness is incredible, and knowledge along with care and great attitude is Superb!!

Amazing! She listens to what’s going on with me. Very kind, great bedside manner, self is very good. No issues getting refills or updates about what’s going on with me. So glad I found her!

Dr. Mbi is an excellent doctor. She is very thorough and knowledgeable. She really cares about her patients. She is also personable. She has a warm and gentle personality. I would like to quote the Allstate slogan to describe Dr. Mbi services. “You are in good hands with Dr. Mbi”.

Dr Mbi is exceptional, her delivery of care is excellent and consistent. She is attentive and detail oriented. Her staff are diligent and professional with fabulous bedside manners. Dr Mbi and team, thank you so much.

I love how Dr Mbi cares and listens and knows what’s best on medicine. Her staff is also super friendly. Love that she’s open on Saturdays too

Dr. Mbi is such a great doctor. I love her staff and they are such caring people. Dr.Mbi is very patient and pays attention to the very fine details making her an amazing doctor.

Dr Mbi is a doctor with heart! She sincerely wants to help her patients to not only be healthy, but understand their care! She reminds me of our family doc when I was a kid! (And that is the ultimate compliment!)

So excited I finally found my doctor AGAIN! I was a patient at her clinic in Fort Worth and followed her to Arlington off 601 Omega Drive. I would not trust my family with any other doctor. Committed, dedicated and is truly called to serve humanity. Thank you Dr Mbi!
