Dr. Purnima D Vyavaharkar, MD

Dr. Purnima was my personal Pediatrician. My health was pretty poor as a child. Instead of helping me, she called me a hypochondriac and a liar to my 16 year old face. She sent me to be evaluated by a psychiatrist. Who, by the way, agreed with me after many sessions that there was something physically wrong and I needed a new doctor. Because “hypochondriac” was in my records, I could not get a doctor listen to me for YEARS. I was finally diagnosed with a serious genetic disease, but not until almost 30, thanks to her. She didn’t listen, had zero compassion and no bedside manner whatsoever. I sincerely hope, for her young patients’ sake, that she has changed.

You never feel like another number to them. Always know who we are when we call. on top of their stuff. Love this office!

Dr. Vyavaharkar was my pediatrician as a child and was so excellent I chose her to be my children's pediatrician as well. I've been to other practices when she was unavailable and I was never as satisfied. She cares deeply about her patients and is an extension of my family. You simply can't find a better doctor or staff, I wouldn't see anyone else!
