Dr. Purvisha Jitendra Patel, MD

have a rare skins condition and Dr Patel has been "helping" me with this for two years now. I previously was prescribed a cream, very expensive, that helped. It's no longer covered by my insurance. Instead of writing a prior authorization, they sent it to a discount pharmacy where I could get it for $500 a pop. Completely ridiculous. My daughter's acne she basically treats with her skincare line. I'm done. Leave don't walk but run

The good doctor could have cared less about what she called "birthday presents" referring to my age, regarding the places I have on my skin that concerned me. She barely glanced at them. Then she took the Rx pad and wrote the website where I could purchase her skin care cream and advised me that I could also purchase it in the lobby. Now I have to go back to my PC who after hearing about my experience told me that she would shave it (the one I'm most concerned about) off next time I come in. Then I got a bill for $45.25 for the part my insurance did not cover. I wrote them a note saying I was not paying and why only to receive the bill again yesterday. I was not intending to leave a review at all but if I have to pay $45.25 to them after that visit I want everyone to know about the experience I had there. I will NOT ever go back to Advanced Dermatology. They may have some good doctors that are not selling their personal skin care product line, I wouldn't know.

The facility was very clean and I was seen in a timely manner. I was given the option to see the owner or a different practitioner. Great experience. Highly recommend.

I felt like Dr. Patel was not very interested in attending me & my concerns. She was so quick in “glancing” at my moles & was talking so fast. In the 10 minutes that I was in her presence, I walked out feeling ridiculous for ever making an appointment. I will not be back to see her!!

I had surgery by Dr. Patel this year for removal of skin cancer on my nose. In addition to the complaints of others about her manner and disinterest in dialog with the patient, the most negative impression for me was during the time she was stitching up my nose after removal of the cancer. Dr. Patel and her nurse carried on a conversation about someone else who worked elsewhere during virtually the entire time she was working on my nose. When I attempted to understand what had been done she just said "you'll be fine" and left the room. If you could see my nose I don't think you would think it was fine.

Went in for a skin breakout. Have had allergies all my life. This breakout was on my scalp. This doctor came into the room, did not introduce herself (I thought she was one of the med asst), asked me a few questions about my thyroid. Then said I have dandruff and prescribed Head & shoulders, drink water, take vitamins and would prescribe something called Keytone ( that never made it to walgreens) and last but not least use her face creams. Not worth the visit or the money it cost to go there. Would not visit again.

I felt as though my cyst removal was a nuisance to her. She did not want to listen, actually told me to be quiet when I was describing my situation. She said she prefers to talk and I need to listen. The actual removal was twice the amount of the quote and I continue to receive unexplained bills over 6 months after the procedure. Tests and lab work claimed to be performed although I had no knowledge or grant permission.

Amazing doc... amazing visit.

I would not recommend her at all. Has a really bad problem with returning phone calls and never did get my problem resolved. Went to see a new Dr.

Very rude, poor bedside manner, misdiagnosed me problem, rushed me out so she could see another patient. Sat in the waiting room for over an hour just to be seen for only 5 mins! Will never go to her again and would not recommend her to anyone else either!
