Pushpa Lall Gross

Dr. Gross has been wonderful to get to know. She is so kind and caring. We see her for all my children. She actively listens to my concerns and my children’s concerns (this is teaching them independence, confidence and autonomy with their health), willing to research and reach out to colleagues for medical issues as needed and checks on the whole family during visits (even though my husband and I go to a different doctor). She never rushes appointments and I feel like we have her whole attention during appointments.

I wish I had great things to say about Dr. Gross. The ease of appointment was within reasonable time. Accurate diagnosis- not so much. After explaining my symptoms, she did not show much concern as I had to become more assertive about my health. She made her assumption based upon previous visits and did not consider my voice as a patient. I felt as though she just wanted to get through me and move on to the next patient. In fact, I was unable to fully explain my symptoms without being criticize and having passed judgements/assumptions. She also asks about personal unrelated health question that did not play a factor into what my symptoms were. Isn't our health private confidential information? She felt the need to ask and share some of my personal information with other family members. (Not that it's anything bad but its my health rights). She even scolded me for not getting my annual exam (I had no insurance then, how can you blame someone with limited supply to monetary funds). Now… with health coverage and even paying out of pocket for previous visits, I came in with the intentions of being treated with respect as a patient. No one likes to come to clinics and waste their time or money. I came in for specific reasons about my health. She also did not recommend me to the specialist that I wished to have seen. Its my health, I want to be proactive. I'm not here to waste the doctors time, nor my time or money. If you want a caring general doctor that listens to you. I would not recommend Dr. Gross.

Dr. Gross is about the sweetest most caring doctor that you'll ever meet. Even when she gives you news that's 'not so good' she delivers it in a way that makes it seem, not so bad. She never makes you feel rushed and she knows her stuff. I've been going through a serious health condition, and I'm with Dr Gross, I don't feel like I'm in the dark nor going thru it alone.
