Dr. Puthenparampil G Vijayakumaran, MD

I've been his patient for 8 years. Best doctor I've ever had. He truly cares, listens, and wants the best for you. He is thorough and understanding. If you're having an emergency usually he tries to get you in or at least follow your care. Could say more but I do not ever plan on changing psychiatrists, not sure what I'll do if he ever retires.

He did not like me because he prescribed Zyprexa for me after the records should show when I first came to Hegira that Zyprexa makes me psychotic from being on it. He probably was sticking up for Dr Kang who neglected my kidneys by not checking them for years while I took Lithium for a long time. I was upset I have stage 2 CKD and switched to Dr Kumaran who scared me by offering Zyprexa. Else he just don't look at records first. Not a good Dr. Would not trust.
