I called the office because I needed a new PCP and felt it was the right fit for me seeing as how he specializes in endocrinology and metabolism, the reason being I have an extremely hard time loosing weight and need help understanding my body better so that I can healthfully loose weight and keep it off. When I called I gave my information and towards the end of the call the receptionist asked if there was anything else the DR .should know, I said yes I have an extremely hard time loosing weight, and without pause the receptionist responded with, "the DR. does not distribute weight loss tablets, okay, goodbye" and hangs-up on me. I called back and said I wanted to make an appointment and that I was not interested in weight loss tablets. The appointment protocol continued and with in the 10 min of the conversation she mentioned two more times that they do not give out weight loss tablets, both times I said I don't want medication I want help. After I made the appointment I called back… a couple of days later and decided that I didn't want to start a new relationship with a DR. who thinks all I'm looking for are pills. I told the women that I did not appreciate her accusations and that all I wanted was help not pills, and AGAIN she reminded me that the DR. does not give out weight loss tablets so I ended the phone conversation letting the women know i was leaving a a not very good review online. she had no sympathy for what she had done and kept arguing with and denied she ever hung up on me. very disappointed, all I wanted was help and a PCP.
