Dr. Qamaruddin Qazi, MD

I was not happy with this Dr. Moved back to where I used to live to go back to my old nephrologist after having such a bad experience. He wouldn't check blood for 2 months even though my GFR is 16. We disliked this Dr very much. With my GFR going from 28 to 16 in 4 or 5 months and still told my husband and I that I didn't need to be seen for 2 months!!

My mother is a patient of his. She is a dialysis patient. She's had problems and he doesn't seem to care. She ends up in the hospital when I feel he could have prevented it. No communication with the dialysis center. Spends very little time with her. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Very expensive $527 for 10 minutes and most of the time he was looking at his computer. Most interesting is a search on his history of prescribing drugs is over 225% of the avg in Wisconsin. He gets a lot of $ from Medicare. For the time he spent with me he is not worth it.
