Dr. Qualls Stevens, DO

Dr. Qualls was in a huge hurry and acted like he didn't have time to listen to my concerns. Front desk was always on her phone and when I was at the window she acted like I was a bother. No place I will ever go back to. He acted like he was mad when I told him I didn't want to have surgery. Rumor has it he cuts on everyone and has screwed up several surgeries.

First appointment I only seen his PA she set me up for surgery. Did not meet Dr. Qualls until day of surgery and he was very short and rushed. Having worse pain than I did before surgery.

My first visit was with dr. stevens then one mth follow up was with his p.a. I didnt even know he had a pa. After that I never saw him or spoke to him only pa. At my one year follow up I was still in severe pain that I didnt have before surgery and still seeing pain mgmt dr. I did see dr stevens this time. All he could tell me was he was sorry surgery didnt work for me and he couldnt help me anymore. A real jerk. I researched doctors and thought he would be the best for me. Guess not. It has been seven yrs since surgery. I am still seeing pain mgmt dr. Still in alot of pain.

Dr. Stevens and his staff treated me with respect and dignity. They identified the issues and address them accordingly.

surgery went great, had a blood clot 2 days later. He went back in found the clot and removed it, excellent work!

He did wonderful in the surgical treatment of my needs and follow-up, however, when i call and leave a message - no return call is made to me unless i continue to call week after week (which their system does note not to do - but it is the only way to get a live person when calling the office) - i have been waiting 3 wks for a call back to ask a question about issues i am having a year after surgery.

The lady Maria at the front desk is rude and always on her cell phone. She couldn't get me away from her window fast enough so she could get on her cell phone. I was in the lobby for about 20 mins and I counted 20 times she was on her phone texting very unprofessional. After I got to the back they were great.

Dr. Stevens and his staff are wonderful! After dealing with low back pain and pain in my leg for several months, I decided it was time to get it taken care of. After talking with the doctor, we decided to try conservative treatment first. So, we did that for a bit. However, it was not getting better. So, we decided my problem would warrant a fusion. After surgery I felt so much better. No more back pain and to my great relief, no more leg pain. This was over 2 years ago. I am still doing well today. I just can't thank Dr. Stevens enough for giving me back my quality of life. I would highly recommend him. I thank him for not just jumping into doing the surgery right away, but for trying everything to keep me from it. But, when it was time, I'm glad I had come to see him! Wouldn't want any other doctor.

A friend recommend Dr. Stevens to me after I fractured a vertebrae this past summer. Dr. Stevens was able to see me very quickly; scheduled and read my MRI the same day as my initial visit. My surgery occurred two days later and was very successful. About a month later, his staff even helped me with my company's disability insurance problems. I have since recommended Dr. Stevens to a couple of friends after hearing of their problems with other local Orthro or Nuero-surgeons. His entire staff: PA, nurse, and office personnel are excellent.
