Correction of my Review: Dr. Nguyen did a good job on my left eye ... But, on my Second Eye Surgery, The Nurse SHORTENED ME ON NUMBING ?? ..SO, when I Screamed a little pain , Dr.Nguyen got UPSET with the Helper and got NERVOUS , and Something went WRONG Now, my second Eye is BAD , WORSE than it was Before ?? still months after ... I Blame his Nervesness on the SHORT NUMBING ( NURSE)

I was referred to Dr. Nguyen by my optometrist who recommended I seek early care for glaucoma-risk. When I saw him, he did not take mine or my optometrist's concerns seriously and did not recommend treatment. He told me this was a good thing because he takes starting treatment seriously since the eye drops are for life (but did not talk to me about the laser surgery, which I ended up doing elsewhere). Luckily my insurance changed and I saw two more ophthalmologists who both recommended treatment and have been providing care. When 3 out of 4 doctors agree, and the 3 were all people who I felt empathized and really cared, unlike Dr. Nguyen, that is very telling.

I have found that Dr. Nguyen is the best eye doctor who has ever cared for my eyes. I have lived in 5 states, and Canada, and have found no one better in his expertise for advising me for better eye health care decisions than Dr. Nguyen.

Dr. Quang H Nguyen is a matter of fact professional. Test, results, and solution in 1-hour for glaucoma.

THIS DOCTOR WAS VERY ARROGANT, DID NOT CARE ABOUT ANY CONCERNS I HAD, DISMISSED MY INPUT AND RUSHED THROUGH ALL VISITS. SCRIPPS SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO KEEP SUCH A DOCTOR. THE VISIT TOOK LESS THAN 3 MINUTES AND THE STUFF THERE MESSED UP MY APPOINTMENT BY NOT SCHEDULING THE VISUAL FIELD TEST. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN AND SURE ALL 900 REVIEWS SCRIPPS HAS ARE SCAM.

Dr Ngugen dedicated all the time I needed to understand my eye's health issues and treatment options including surgery.

THIS DOCTOR WAS VERY ARROGANT, DID NOT CARE ABOUT MY CONCERNS, DISMISSED MY INPUT AND RUSHED THROUGH ALL VISITS WHICH LED TO SEVERE VISION CONSEQUENCES . TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE PATIENTS FULL HEALTH HISTORY IS VERY IMPORTANT.

My dad does not speak any English and I came to translate for him as I always do on all of his doctor's visits. It was one of the worst visits to Scripps since 2000 when my parents immigrated to US. He took 3 minutes of his time to talk to him (and it is with translation). He made some jokes about his home country and after that he informed my father that he will never see on his left eye again (with a smile on his face) and nothing can be done about it. He does not care neither about his patients nor about their feelings..... It is not WHAT you say but it is HOW you say..... Shame on Scripps for keeping someone like him....

Being the only Glaucoma doctor in Scripps in San Diego north county, he is very arrogant. You can certainly feel his non-caring attitude.

Not interested in answering questions nor show concern for my scared Mom. Very poor care.
