“Before becoming an endodontist and specializing in root canal therapy, I practiced general dentistry for several years. In many ways, my experiences as a general dentist are essential to my perspective, approach and — ultimately — my capability as an endodontist.
“As a Navy dentist, I treated thousands of people from a wide range of backgrounds and with a broad spectrum of conditions. I believe this helped make me a better diagnostician. It also drove home exactly how challenging general dentistry is and gave me the utmost respect for dentists and what they do. And it instilled in me, I think, a deeper understanding that my role is simply and solely to support your dentist in protecting your oral health.
