Dr. Quntao Yu, MD

Have noticed the last few unpleasant comments been there for a while. I don’t see any problem with that office collecting deposit, if your insurance wasn’t cleared. I have been with that office for over ten years. My insurance some years were good, sometimes bad, like now with high deductible, especially with small Insurance companies. I understand your unhappiness when you are asked to pay “deposit “, since we thought we already “paid” to insurance. I had those experiences, too. Obviously, the office manager is the one who most likely to be the “bad” person to stand up, if we don’t make payment to the front desk, for which she always earns bad credit. The doctor office has 3 months to file claims to insurance and insurance has up to 45 days to pay the doctor. Most services don’t take more than 3 months to get paid, although some small insurance companies do. I saw you were refunded in the reasonable time frame. I think the office manager was just doing her job.

I've been to this office only once, and it was the biggest mistake. The front staff was very rude and condescending; the doctor was polite but insufficiently experienced. This office cares only about the money and not at all about its patients.

??? - Crooks. Worst Pediatrician experience I ever faced. I finally got my refund after nearly four months of back and forth with them! The woman office manager (Linda Yu?) is absolutely terrible at customer service. She is a liar, pigheaded and will arrogantly argue even when she's stupidly wrong with no apologies, despite the facts. And the doctor doesn't have the backbone to correct it or do the right thing against her will. They tried to overcharge or double claim me after the fact. I told them that was not right, but they would not listen to me, the customer. My insurance had to clearly communicate to them they would not pay for the double claim or charges and it was not appropriate. It was not ethical. And they finally refunded my money back with no apology for the rude service and several months wasted. In it for the quick buck not the long-term customer value. ????????????!

Like others on Google reviews have said: The office manager - Linda is argumentative, arrogant, and biased - She does not think balanced, fair or logical for customers (basically for her own interests). You can even see it in how she communicates arrogantly sometimes with her staff or in how she greets only some patients. It seems like the only reason she's still there with such a bad attitude is that she is the doctor's wife. Nepotism and cronyism at it's finest. Doctor also said false information like only one race has sickle cell trait. When that is obviously false.  He also came off arrogant at the end, asking how long I lived in the U.S. when he is the one that is not native to good U.S. customer service and because his staff failed to communicate properly before and after appointments to manage expectations and provide a positive customer experience. Good service is not finally telling me when I'm calling to find out why a (suspicious) deposit hasn't been refunded in over a… month and a half well after they said it would be and then apply some of it to an out of the blue unrelated charge to keep some of the money for them self. Linda is money hungry and does business unscrupulously. She even hung up on me twice during phone calls regarding my issue. "We don't need you" she told me sums up her attitude. She needs to be reminded, the business serves customers/patients, not the other way around.

Dr. Quntao Yu is the Best Pediatircian. Our Children start to see Dr. Yu Since year 2000. He is so gental and always carefully listen to our child situation. His diaginose always very clear and accurate. His knowledge earned his name by patient - Diagnose # 1 in Sugar Land. He was voted to be Best Pediatrician @ Fort Bend Sun. He eared this reward is show how much his patient's trust. We really enjoy to see Dr. Yu. Dr. Yu's office is very professonal. Well exam room and sick exam room complete seperated. This is so important for newborn baby. All new baby had been very goog protected. We strong recommanded you call his office @ 281-565-8188.

The best pediatrician you can trust. Dr. Yu is always ready to help his patient. We all love to see him. He is very knowledgeable and with very patient to children. If we have any questions, he always explains to us very clear. Dr. Yu has serviced as chair person for Pediatric/OBGYN Department @ Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital since Jan. 2003.
