Dr. Quoc Nguyen, MD

Dr. Quoc Nguyen joined Doctors First, now First Medical Associates, as a staff physician in December 2020 and is now board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He looks forward to providing individualized care to help each of his patients on their health journey. He provides: 

• Primary Care - Annual exams, physicals, urgent care, primary care, geriatric care
• Chronic Condition treatment - Asthma, Diabetes, Depression, Gastrointestinal conditions 
• Specialized Care - Men's and Women's Health, Skin Rashes and Eczema, STD Testing, UTI testing and treatment 
• General Services - Sore Throat and Colds, Telemedicine

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, and he received his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in Saba, Netherlands. He completed a residency in family medicine at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. 

Born in Vietnam, Dr. Nguyen …lived on the west coast of Washington State most of his life growing up. In 2013, Dr. Nguyen relocated to South Carolina and practiced Urgent Care Medicine and Family Medicine. He recently relocated to Maryland to be with his family.

Outside of work, he is traveling the world to learn new cultures and enjoy a variety of different ethnic foods. He naturally developed an affinity for beaches, growing up on the coast. He loves football and follows the Seattle Seahawks. He can be spotted jogging with his dog, Dumbo, in his free time.
