Dr. Quresh Z Bandukwala, MD

Broke HIPPA by meeting with patient in lobby where anyone could walk through the front door. The reception was also just a sliding glass door away and was able to hear the entire session. When discussing prescription, doctor spoke details in front of receptionist to client. Extremely unprofessional. Did not listen to client.

Dr Bandukwala has helped my husband tremendously. I have seen such an improvement in his mood since seeing the doctor. I believe the reason being that we found someone that finally listened to him and prescribed the medication he needed

Perhaps Dr. Bandukwala is a good physician for children. But as an adult, I can genuinely say that my experience at his office is the worst I have ever had in any medical practice. I work in medicine and I can confidently say that the way the front office staff and Dr. Bandukwala treated me was highly unprofessional and, quite frankly, the opposite of how you are supposed to treat patients in the healthcare field. When I told the Doctors, NPs and PAs I work with about my experience, they told me that they weren't surprised and had heard of many others having experiences similar to mine. In fact, many said they wished I had told them about my appointment beforehand, because they would have advised me to cancel and find a different psychiatrist. Long story short...definitely would not recommend.

He asked if any other doctor had diagnosed me with a certain diagnosis and immediately jumped to the same conclusion as the other doctor. I did not like that. He does seem to care a lot about helping me and has helped me. I understand that a psychiatrist may get off schedule often because of the nature of what he does and if someday I need him more than 30 or 40 minutes I hope he keeps me as long as he needs to in order to help me.

.. and not a very effective or useful machine either. You get the distinct impression that he believes he is better than you, that you should listen and he should speak. He took TWO phone calls during the session. If you have any questions he tends to close his eyes and take a breath as if your questions bother him. I asked him to clarify some of his written notes for my mother and he said he didn't have time to do such a thing... my mom is pretty much out of it at this point but even she said as we left... that guy's a jerk.

I like Dr. Bandukwala and "his way" of gettingn thingsn done. But, I do not like the fact that scheduled appointments are not seen on time by him.
