Dr. Quynh Minh Mai, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Mai for over 15 years. He is one of the best doctors that I have ever encountered. He has saved my life 3 times and my husband’s life twice. When I moved to another city, I could not find another doctor that even came close to having his expertise, skill and caring. So I drive over 2 hours for the services of he and his fine staff. And when someone says to me, “You drive all that distance just to see a doctor?” I can’t help but respond, “ That’s right baby! Because he’s NO ORDINARY DOCTOR!!! He’s the BEST!”

We showed up at 2:40 and was out of the office by 3:15. I've seen this doctor before and he's very friendly and is truly concerned with what's wrong. Would definitely recommend.

I have been going to this doctor for about 10 years or so. He is very frank, not too much fluff, tells it like it is, plus has a good sense of humor. He is one of the few doctors who will allow the patient to become their own best doctor. You know your body and its reactions generally better than he does; so, if you speak up and not be a "bump on a log", he will give you his opinion of what he thinks (medically) that you may or may not be doing correctly or incorrectly in taking matters of health into your own hands. Diet, exercise, herbs, vitamins, minerals, home remedies are all "a go" with him as long as the end result is useful and beneficial in improving your overall health. Of course this is not in lieu of any Rx drugs which he may prescribe to help you over the hump or deal long term with the issue at hand. Only once in 10 years did he ever get upset with my "doing it my way" instead of his way, and after observing my results upon the next visit, he was satisfied with my end… result. All other visits, we would always agree on a plan of action as to how to attack my many health problems. He generally has limited time because of his patient load; but, if your problem is serious, he always finds time to talk. His staff always appear delighted to see me, generally helpful and courteous, on occasion sometime like me forget things and have to be prompted to either do something again or find the root cause of why something occurred the way it did. He recently moved into a new, more spacious office location about 3 miles away from the old location.

THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORSE DR EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD! THE STAFF IS HORRIBLE I NEVER MET A GROUP OF MEDICAL ASSISTANTS THEY WERE WORSE. EVEN WHEN I HAD TO CALL TO GIVE MY CREDIT CARD INFO I FOUND THAT THEY WERE SHORT WITH ME. I COULDNT BELIEVE THE RUDENESS FROM THESE PEOPLE. I USED TO BE A MEDICAL ASSISTANT AND I WOULD NEVER TREAT THE PATIENTS THE WAY THESE PEOPLE HAD. FROM THE TIME I STEP THROUGH THE DOORS TO THE BACK OFFICE I WAS TREATED HORRIBLE. THE GIRL WHO TOOK MY BLOOD PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE ACTED LIKE SHE COULD CARE LESS AND BARELY SAID A WORD EVEN AFTER I TOLD HER HELLO AND SHE GOT NASTY WITH ME WHEN SHE RANKED OFF THE BLOOD PRESSURE CUFF AND THEN HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME SHE WASNT THROUGH WITH THAT YET. THE GIRL THAT TOOK A CULTURE FROM ME WAS EVEN WORSE IM ALREADY SICK WITH A BAD SORE THROAT AND IN PAIN AND SHE RAMS THE STICK DOWN MY THROAT NEARLY CHOKING ME AND GETS UPSET WHEN I SAID SORRY I JUST NEED A SECOND BEFORE SHE SHOVED IT DOWN MY THROAT AGAIN HARSHLY. WHEN U… CALLED BACK TO ASK A QUESTION ABOUT ONE OF PRESCRIPTIONS IT TOOK THEM ALMOST A WEEK TO GET BACK TO ME. I WAS STILL SICK A FEW WEEKS LATER INSTEAD OF GOING BACK I DECIDED TO JUST GO TO ANOTHER DR. IT WAS NOT WORK GOING THROUGH THAT AGAIN. I NEVER WRITE A REVIEW BUT I HAD SUCH A TERRIBLE TIME WITH THIS DR OFFICE I FELT THE NEED TO SPEAK UP ABOUT IT.

Quynh Mai is an excellent physician. He is highly regarded by all of his colleges I have met and his diagnosis is always spot-on. Our family has the utmost confidence in him.

Very offensive, in my honest opinion. Brushed me off, rushed me out, cut me off when speaking, didn't really listen. Maybe he listened but he wasn't hearing.

Dr. Mai is always there when I need him.He returns my calls, which is unusual for Doctors now.I have had to use 2 other doctors in the same practice when I dropped in with no appointment, but Dr. Mai is even there on Saturdays.He's professional and very courteous.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mai since he started his Practice. He is an excellent at diagnosing a health problem! He is a caring person, with a great bedside manner! He really takes care of his patients and follows up on everything. He also, has a wonderful staff who are very accommodating. He is the Best!

Dr. Mai was totally exzct in his diagnosis several years back when I visited his ofice for the first time. I was in excruciating pain on my 45th birthday. he did a check up and suspected it was a gall bladder stone. (It was in fact a gall bladder stone's pain that brought me there. He suggested that I immediately prepare to go into the hospital. (NOT the 45th birthday I planned. EJ's awesomesome doctors and God's plan made my stay there life-long memorable. DR. M is the reason I am alive to write this!!!He is a Godsend!!!
