Dr. Raafat Nabil Mattar, MD

I’m 40yrs old and I suffered a work related accident on my left wrist that created multiple problems. After two minor surgeries for ganglion cyst and de quervians tenosyntovitis, I developed CRPS type 1 of left extremity. My primary doctor sent me to a specialist for attention and Dr. Raafat Mattar at concentra took over the diagnosis. Dr. Mattar was able to identify the solution for my CRPS and recommended pain relief by performing a Ganglion Block. The procedure is an injection in front of the neck, Dr.Mattar and his team have performed 2 carefully and successful shots with no side effects a minimal pain during and after injections. As a result the pain from CRPS has reduced after each injection, with the observation of Dr Mattar’s follow ups he is able to determine the proper procedure to help the healing by carefully monitoring my physical therapy and any changes to my pain. Dr. Mattar is helping me recover from a painful wrist injury and has helped alleviate and reduce the pain… levels, I recommend his work and his team for their professional assistance attending to my injury. It has made a positive change to my recovery. I hope my testimony can in courage others to seek an opinion from Dr. Mattar and put yourself on track to a speedy recovery.

Where do I start. I just love Dr. Mattar and his staff especially his right hand man Kevin; they make the dynamic duo in clinic/surgery center. Dr. Mattar had always treated me like family since the first day we met. I'm trying not to get sentimental as I write this, this man has helped me when no one else would to monitor my pain; I could never repay him for his help and the compassion that has been extended to me ??. A few other thing, I would like to mention is his office/surgery center is always clean and his clean/prep area for procedure on patients is top tier and he needs to be hired to teach these medical facilities employees how to prep/clean patients properly for procedures. I wish Dr. Mattar was my one stop shop for medical needs ??

For several years I have had debilitating low back pain and after trying temporary solutions finally sought out pain management. Each method was clearly explained at each medical approach, and a follow up visit was made to evaluate how effective the final procedure was and that the surgical site and reflexes were normal. The office staff is friendly and helpful which is appreciated when a person is in pain. The surgical team and nurses are very good, and procedures go smoothly. Although I am still undergoing treatment, there is noticeable improvement. I receive excellent care and am following a treatment plan in a supportive environment. I feel very confident in the surgical expertise and advice of Dr. Mattar.

For the past year, I have been having right hip pain. I attributed it to aging. I went to see Dr Mattar, while he was examining me, he "hit the spot" very painful. He stated it was my bursa. He recommended that he do an injection into my bursa. After having the injection, I no longer have ANY pain. It's been a week and STILL no pain. I'm able to bend and put my shoes on again without being in pain. I'm walking again without cringing in pain. Go see Dr Mattar for help, he worked wonders for me! I can't thank him enough

My right shoulder needed surgery due to a tear from bench pressing. For three years I was in horrible pain. I went to doctor raafat and he advised me to do the PRP procedure. I received two treatments of PRP from Dr. Raafat. The whole process took about three months and I felt like a new man my shoulder was pain free. I have been in pain for the past several years and have tried everything to find relief. Dr. Mattar was amazing. He listened carefully, asked clarifying questions then made treatment suggestions that actually worked! I am very critical about most doctors, but not this one. It is apparent by his actions, that he truly cares about the health and well being of his patients. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone that is tired of being in pain and wants relief! He was outstanding and his staff is great. I can't say enough about this doctor!

If you are suffering and have tried everything but you're still in pain, go see Dr Mataar. I've been in pain for over 4 yrs after an accident and I'm finally getting some relief after seeing Dr. Mataar and having a couple of PRP treatments. Dr. Mataar is very friendly, he cares about his patients and his staff is amazing. I've never been to a doctor that genuinely cares as much about his patients as Dr. Mataar. He is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. I highly recommend him!
